Nice find. Season 7 episodes of TPIR are highly sought after in any form due to them pretty much never being reran. As stated by another user, this is believed to be the 1/10/79 episode, with a production code of 3113D.
Only one episode from season 7, Feb 20, 1979 was known to have rerun on GSN. The channel did rerun select episodes from seasons 6 (Aug 1977-June 1978) and 8 (Aug 1979-June 1980)
Right now by my count there's a gap between June 13, 1978 and February 20, 1979 (Season 6 into 7) with no available daytime episodes posted. Unfortunately, that's one of the most important periods of change in the show - all-white stage front floor, green wheel sections, bonus spin, dollar sign overlays, familiar wheel beeps, return of the post-Showcase commercial break, brighter stage lighting, wider intro shots, Bob loosening up his hosting style. Season 7 is what set up TPIR to become legendary over the next decade, and it's a shame we have pretty much squat from that period. Even a couple minutes of clips from one of those episodes is a treat.
@@VectraQS Right and that's the one TPIR episode I'd most want to see out of everything out there. Along with the actual first DSW and the alleged "original exact bid showcase" from early '73.
The Waltons episode here described in the promo appears to have aired on Thursday 1/11/1979. THe pricing game seen here was played on the 1/10/1979 episode. This would appear to be from 1/10/1979

That's from WIBW-TV in Topeka.
Do you have the rest of The episode from 1978 so far including the Pricing Games and second showcase showdown
This would have been taped... likely in late November 1978 or so - back when both the daytime and nighttime shows were taped concurrently.
Please, please, if you have the full show we’d love to see it!! GSN never reran shows from this era.
sorry just had a vhs tape and this is everything on it
@ oh well. Thanks for sharing what you have, this is a very rare era of Price to see. A friend of mine suspects this is the January 10, 1979 show.
@@VectraQS When you say from this era, you meant from this Daytime Year in particular.

The introduction of the bonus spin is actually known - it occurred on 3072D, aired December 14, 1978 (scheduled for December 12, 1978).

This was either from late December 1978 or early 1979 as the bonus spin rules were in place due in part of the wheel.
Ah ha! Zinman Furs!
For those 2 Showcases, I would have guessed the following.
1st Showcase: $3,333
2nd Showcase: $9,500
