- Hi people in this video you will see how to install twrp erofs in poco x3 nfc & poco x3 ( surya/karna).
Q: What's is EROFS?
A: EROFS (short for “Enhanced Read-Only File System”) is a significant storage space savings and performance. Originally development by engineer Xiang Gao while he was working at Huawei. Will used on new devices, what's coming out with Android 13 and Linux Kernel v5.4.
Q: This used only for Huawei or other Android OEMs too?
A: Eventually, though, several prominent Android OEMs, such as OPPO and Xiaomi, began shipping products using EROFS.
Q: Why only new devices will support EROFS?
A: Android OEMs problematic to do format /system and /vendor with OTA update. Devices launching with Android 13 have to ship with at least android12-5.4 (which is allowed because of Google Requirements Freeze), so every Android 13 launch device will have a kernel that’s compatible with EROFS. Google has also brought EROFS support to update_engine, added the user space tools to build EROFS images, and recently made it possible to build GSIs and cuttlefish AVDs with EROFS.
Q: What drew OPPO, Xiaomi, and now Google to pick EROFS over other file systems?
A: As previously mentioned, EROFS offers better random read/write performance over existing solutions. In addition, EROFS also offers dramatic storage space savings. Building a cuttlefish image that uses EROFS instead of EXT4 saves about 800MB of space, for example.
Q: What's ROMs support EROFS and how to add support for it in ROM?
A: Originally, A13 with Linux Kernel v5.4 will by default EROFS, but custom ROMs can too support it now. PA team merged EROFS changes sometime ago. Here ( / 1529418561273352192 ) u can see what's commits need for support EROFS. On this channel I will use #EROFS for ROMs/Kernel/Recovery, what's EROFS now supports.
Q: I need format anything during flash ROM?
A: No. ROMs by default will have EROFS for supported partitions (as I says before, system & vendor).
Q: What's problems can caused ROMs with EROFS?
A: Because of this read-only file system, some modules or dfe can't working fine.

this is kinda misleading bro, i have to redo everything cuz you went to wipe the storage, removing the magisk files. I have to do it again without wiping the storage and there, my phone was rooted. Still thank you very much, its just that I thought you were going to root the device.
