Also, if you keep listening to Ateez to me. There is not a lot of similarity because you have to keep listening Ateez music you think that you might know what they sound like but when you listen to some of their songs, there all different in every way even when you think you know which way the song is going you don’t because it changes instantly you know what I mean if you keep watching their videos
I think you might like their B side called 'Its you'
And about sounding like Stray Kids idk since I didn't listen to much of their title songs but I doubt it unless you mean similar as in "loud" hard hitting music then yes.
Or if so ig something of the trend of that time but would not only be by these two groups.
And which songs you mean similar tho bc what you heard of Skz could have been released after Ateez songs👀 For example this song Deja Vu was released in late 2021 and made even before bc they always have the music and storyline prepared in advance.
Stray Kids and AteeZ are like the best of friends. But...NO! They are not under the same label, they are not under the same producers...each group actually have a hand in their group songs heavily independently from each other. They WERE in the same show called Kingdom: Legendary Wars which was amazing and sooooo much fun to watch. And while technically it's a competition show...they worked together more as a team than compete against each other. Yes...SKZ debut before AteeZ but the gap isn't a lot I don't think. I think AteeZ debut in Oct. 2018. If I'm not mistaken AteeZ members may be a smidgen younger in general. But every AteeZ song sounds sooooo different from each other. You can get a lot of flavors from them. They were considered monster rookies when they debut but now they are just monsters in the best way. Lol! AteeZ is a lot of fun and they have a more set storyline/concept. They are pirates incase you haven't picked up on it yet. Lol please continue the rabbithole.

I appreciate the honesty with the reaction. If you’re looking for R&B then ATEEZ’s title tracks are not where you’re going to find it. I’m a huge fan of R&B and I’m also a fan of Ateez, but Ateez only does a little R&B. Some suggestions that might be close to R&B for Ateez are Treasure, Mist, Desire, Light, One Day at A Time, Fireworks, If Without You, With U, IT’s You, Youth, Not Too Late, and Celebrate. I also love Fever, but I don’t think it’s R&B. Mostly all of these are b-sides.
Ateez likes to change genres a lot within songs, especially in title tracks. It seemed that the beat/rhythm change was one thing you pointed out with Deja Vu that you weren’t as fond of. I feel like the constant variety and changes within songs might be something that people find similar between Ateez and Stray Kids, which is why people compare them a lot. Both groups are from different labels though with no shared producers. Both groups are different in their discography, but most of the songs they choose as title tracks may sound like loud, anthemic songs with lots of rhythm/genre changes. I associate Stray Kids with more Hip Hop and Rock sounds and Ateez with more EDM, synth sounds and variation of genres throughout songs.
I'm curious as to how you might feel about their b-side songs like Mist, Light, Aurora, With U, Fever, Take Me Home and Celebrate.
But the sound you liked in the first verses appeared again in the chorus? And I don't see how it's loud? The pre chorus melody just a little louder and the chorus with the da da da ra ra not at all?
Much less this song in comparison to others 😂
I think if you concentrate only in the song listening more times you will like it better but if not it's okay.
You may like Fireworks, that one has a loud chorus but is so catchy and fun to me and has some r&b verses too
And they have other calmer and also r&b songs that are bsides like from their last album the sub unit songs Youth, IT's You and Everything! :)
