Asian Study Group's visit to Bhera , district Sargodha - 23 Sep 2023
Twelve members of Asian Study Group ( ASG) visited the historic town of Bhera on 23 September 2023. During the visit they saw the Sher Shah Suri Jama Mosque , Bhera ( 1540 AD), Esa House ( 1931), Darbar Hazrat Miran Shah Sahib ( 1681 AD , 1092 Higri) , centuries old Boliwala temple close to left bank Jhelum River . Abandonded terminal Bhera Railway Station , Bhera ( 1881) .
They purchased the spealities of Bhera from bazaar inside Chakwala Darwaza ( Chinoti Gate - 1865) . The group also met the Assistant Commission Bhera , Mr Hakim Khan, in his office . Members of ASG were well briefed and guided by Sahibzada Abrar Ahmed Bugvi , Hafiz Irfan (Mani ) photographer, and Nayyar Abbas .
