i decorate for valentine’s day in jan & feb and then transition to easter for march and april :) decorating for each holiday really helps me not have seasonal depression. my husband requested i leave our trees up and just decorate them for each holiday lol
Ashley, I love how transparent you are with your viewers. Not all content-providers do that! I first found your channel two years ago with searching for new Christmas decorating ideas. I've been hooked since! I am definitely in a different season of life than you and your family, but are basically raising our grandchildren so can totally relate to the kid stuff too! I really enjoy your videos! Thank you for what you do!
Not to be too sappy, but I discovered both of your channels in the middle of doing IVF. After my husband and I experienced an IVF transfer failure, I was so down and sad and not in a great place. Watching your videos reminded me of how much I loved our Disney trip in 2023 and brought me out of a funk. I started planning our next Disney trip after we got the bad news and your videos helped me plan those - even though it was just for my husband and me. I’ve kept watching since, because I enjoy your content on both channels. Also, light purple is my favorite color too and you inspired me to buy what I like - I started avoiding it because people commented that I had too much of it. I’ve since added more of my favorite light purple back into my life.
I found your pixie dusted page in 2023 when I was taking my kids on their first Disney trip, and that led me here! I watch both of your channels religiously💜
Love following the adventures of you and your family on both channels!! You were the first cleaning motivation I got into and you and your family are the ones i would love to hang out with for a day! Just sit on your couch, play with the girls, chat and eat! You are very good at what you do! I watch everything of yours, but cleaning and day in the life content are my favorite! Thank you for sharing your life with your internet fam!!
❤ 🎉 I started watching Pixie Dusted Mom on maternity leave with my first daughter in 2022 and then found Spoonful from there! Love all of your content! I'm now watching on maternity leave with my second daughter!
I’ve been following you for a while and love knowing how you manage it all. I’m so thankful with how open and transparent you are. I love watching all of your videos on both channels and can’t wait to see what you have planned for the new year! 💜💜🎆
I found you from your Christmas decorating videos in October. We LOVE Disney too, and I realized I had watched some of your videos a few years ago on your Disney trips!!!❤ my daughter loves watching your Disney vlogs with me now ❤️
Came over from Pixie, love the Disney content. Spoonful is more similar to what I first started watching on UA-cam, but you are so much more transparent and real!! Our daughter is 20 months old and she just started in daycare several mornings a week. I work remotely and it was becoming so stressful, the back and forth and not really being present for work or her. Very grateful we found a close and affordable option through someone at church.
Love your channels! I found you about a year ago when searching UA-cam for tips when taking babies to Disney! Your stroller and packing videos were my lifeline 😂 and then realized you had your cleaning channel and that became my go to when cleaning, folding laundry, or tackling dishes. I love both your home and Disney content and wishing you and your family the best in 2025! Happy New Year 🎆
Love your chats!! I usually decorate for winter with lavender and turquoise! Pillow covers, snowmen with lavender and turquoise accents, snowflakes etc! And white twinkle lights! Then for Valentine’s Day the beginning of February. Happy New Year! ✨💜🎆💜✨
Thank you so much for sharing and your transparency! I found you around May of 2024 on your pixie Chanel while we were planning my daughter’s first Disney trip. Specifically your Caribbean beach resort review because that’s where we stayed ☺️ I have so enjoyed not only your Disney content but your spoonful content as well! You have the cutest family and I appreciate you sharing with us 🩷
I found your page summer 2022 while prepping for my first Disney Trip as the parent 😂. Loved all your Disney content and came over here for cleaning / lifestyle content. Would love another chatty video to listen to while cleaning💜💜💜
I found you this year from your Christmas Decor content, and then later found out you love Disney just as much as me and I have been with you every time you post!!❤️
I started out on Pixie and found my way here too. I watch all your videos when I get the notification if I can. I've even went back and watched older videos as well. My dream is to be able to do what you do over on Pixie.
Hello my dear! Thanks for yet another cozy and relatable vlog. I definitely vote for part two! Honestly Ashley, I feel like you could be my sister we have so much in common. Thank you for EVERYTHING. You deserve your success more than most of the wonderful creators out there. 💜💜💜
Love listening to the chat videos. Especially while I’m doing laundry or dishes. Feels like I have a partner in crime doing it with me 😂. And proud of youuuuuu and I’m happy to support you! 💜💜🎆
I always leave the lights and pine out just take down my Christmas decorations. Where we live it is cold until April so I need a little holiday cheer! This year I decided to even leave out on Christmas tree until at least February
I would love a part two of Q&A. Before I watched this video, I did not know that you lived with your parents, and I think that is awesome! I bet there’s going to be some big feelings when you guys move out. 😢 💜
Part 2 part 2 🎉🎉 I love what you said about budgeting as a SAHM & the demands of a WFHM. I would love a dedicated video about tips for budgeting you found successful someday! I just started staying home this august, and it’s been an adjustment! I’m also trying to balance trying to WFH as well and it’s so much!
I feel like I am just as excited as you for the progress that you and Dean have made on your financial goals! I love these chats and am a huge fan of both channels.
I've just got to chime in here... I love your videos. I started following you years ago on Pixie when we were planning to take our 5 month old to Disney - and I recently realized you've got this channel, subscribed, and have been THOROUGHLY enjoying your content here. There's something so motivating about watching a fellow mom keep it real, keep it moving, and get s*** done. And watching this video where you gave some context to your financial situation/goals etc... just made me feel like you're my internet bestie. Keep it up Ashley - you're doing amazing!
Love both your channels ❤ some advice about purchasing a home, you mentioned saving for the down payment prior to starting the process. Meet with a lender first so you can learn what you can afford and then save your down payment so you have a better idea on how much to save. Being self employed and your wages going up and down you may need a higher percentage to put down 💗
💜 love your content! I subscribed to this channel of yours after finding your Pixie Dusted page 😊 your vlog of Bella’s yes day is what made me subscribe there 💜 I vote for a part 2! 🤗
Loved this, agree we house share and that makes a huge difference. Also helps having the girls next to grandma. An idea is try to stay with them until you can pay the house cash, having no mortgage is your goal. Houses are money pits😊
I would like to make a suggestion……if you are looking at buying a home in the 12-18 months…. You should be going and looking now. #1 it keeps you focused and motivated #2 house looking is like dating. You will quickly figure out what is a must have, what is negotiable, floor plans you love, yards you can live with. It takes quite a few lookings for you to nail stuff down. #3 when you are ready to pull the trigger to buy you already have a plan. Buying a house can take months of viewings. Getting that out of the way will help in the future for speed of purchase and contentment in your purchase.
I found your channel in the depths of postpartum 3am tv youtube just hoping for the day we could bring our nicu baby to Disney, and it was so nice to just have another mom who wasn't worried about getting him sick and who could have a normal conversation (one sided but hey it made me feel sane)
I found your channel through, oddly enough, packing videos. I'm sort of obsessed with them. I also go to WDW at least 3 times a year so the Disney content was a draw. I'm an older retired grandma so the taking kids to WDW is just fun to watch but not the original draw. I started on this channel somewhere after that just to see what was going on. Was a longer time viewer before I actually subscribed but liked your vibe well enough decided it might help, I also let the ads play all the way through, which I don't do for most other content I watch since most of those are bigger channels. About saving and buying a house. When hubby decided he was tired of renting we started looking at houses about a year in advance. He got pre-approved for x amount and set that as the budget. He then started saving for the down payment and knew what percent he wanted to put down (more than was required). I then went out to every open house every weekend for a year, I only looked at things in the budget, nothing over the budget and actually put a cap on myself while looked of coming in at least $10,000 below budget so only looked at those houses. As we got closer to the time to buy, I started taking pictures of contenders for him to look at. He never went to any of the open houses, hates sales people and crowds. We narrowed down the area, the must haves and the likes. He wanted new build (we would have actually been better off with an established home since you never really know how well the builder did, even with a thorough inspection, we are paying big time for that now). After I narrowed it down to two or three, I took him to look and we ended up paying close to $40,000 less than budget. While he was saving for the down payment, I was saving for things like window coverings, fridge, movers, all the odds and ends you need when you move. We were a two income family, now I'm retired but he still works. We were able to work it that we closed on the house a month before we had to move so we slowly started moving things over to the new house we could live without so we only needed movers for things like the big furniture.
I have 4 kids and open floor plan in two homes. It’s the worst. It’s loud and it’s going out of style because when you have people come over it’s a nightmare. When one part is a mess the whole thing looks a mess. Wish you the best in getting a home!
💜💜💜 happy new year Ashley!!! Proud of you hitting your getting out of debt goals!! I started following after subscribing to pixie dusted mom. As a work from home mom too I can relate to the balance struggle. You’re doing a great job! 😊
💜 🎆 We did the whole living with family thing to pay off debt and save for a house too. It’s tough! Buying a house was something that seemed so distant or possibly not even attainable. We bought our first house 3 years ago and we still walk around saying “can you believe we did this?” It’s so special. Y’all are doing great! Almost there!
Hi Ashley I found Pixie Dusted Mom as I was planning a long weekend Disney trip for the hubby and I back in May. I have recommended it to several moms as they've planned Disney with kiddos. I still watch that one sporadically as it has helpful little mom travel hacks which have been great when we've traveled with our kids (not Disney yet but hopefully soon!) . We're more of a Disney every 5-10 yrs kinda family so I don't regularly watch. I love Spoonful! You keep me company during the workday sometimes (like a podcast running in the background) or when I need to do housework. It feels like I'm chatting with another mom who's also trying to do her best to love her husband, kids and keep life organized and fun. It's a big job. Nice to have a friend in the chaos trenches.
Thank you for answering my question, Ashley! Makes sense as to why you changed your name from Spoonful of Cleaning to Spoonful of Ashley. I was out of town for a few weeks and unable to watch anything UA-cam, so that's why I thought you may have already answered that. I'm still playing catch up. Anyway, thanks again! By the way, I'm with you on the dreary, gloomy winter look outside. I love cold weather, but I do not like that it comes with overcast/dark skies and little to no sun. 💜🎆💜🎆💜🎆💜🎆
🎆💜 Girl you weren't kidding when you say mom guilt hits hard. I stayed home with my three kids so we were a one income family. For us, it was worth the sacrifice to make sure a parent was always available to them. We own two small businesses plus my husband has a regular job outside the home (he teaches at a local community college). Now that all three are adults I work outside the home part time as well as run the small businesses. I'm not a Nonnie of four (my fourth one came right before Thanksgiving!) and it was all worth it in the end. You guys are doing a great job. I'm glad you didn't let your spell of being distracted discourage you from getting back on track. We all stumble but the key is to stand strong and get back on track. You are going great!
I love both of your channels! I found Pixie first then this channel. My little girls and I watch Pixie together and let the ads play of course! I love this channel. I can relate to your content so much. I work part time and am home with my littles most of the time. Love ya! 💜🎆
First, you are awesome. Second, would love to see more of these. Third, as someone who also struggles with debt - i thank you for your vulnerability. I can relate and would love to hear more of your tips, and suggestions. I think more of us struggle with it than people might think and it's always nice when you can relate.
Will your Disney channel change as your kids become school-age and the workload for kids start to increase with academics? Obviously your other channel deals with giving tips for taking young kids to Disney. Will it switch to taking school-age kids to Disney?
I liked this video. I started watching your Disney channel when prepping for our first trip with kids. I watch tons of your videos and rewatched several times. They were very well done. My husband and I actually met you on that trip (Aug.2024) in the MK baby centre. I said hi but didn’t want to chat because I worried you likely find that odd - perfect strangers coming up and talking to you as if you’re friends. I really enjoyed this video and would watch another part 2. I like when creators to get to know you videos. 💜
Loved listening as I cleaned the kitchen and started taking down christmas kitchen decor! Id love a part 2! If you are looking to build you can def buy a lot (land) prior to building if you find a location you love. In both sides of our family we have built many homes and my parents recently built one (2020) and it took them some time to find a lot and location they loved. I want to say it took them a couple years, we are in northwest ohio though. We built in 2021, moved in January 2022, we are very fortunate my husband family farms and we were able to pick where we wanted to build on the farm. We also did a lot of the work ourselves. my husband not me lol, I was pregnant with our second. we are now living in our dream home and its so rewarding. I thank God every day as I honestly don't know how we did it financially, def talk to a bank to get some ideas. We started the process months before just to see how we could do it. we had a beautiful home where we taught, then I became a stay at home mom, we moved to an old house on the farm to save money. we both now quit teaching and my husband is doing what he loves farming and a family road business! Brought me to tears listening to you because we have lived that and I can't wait for what the future holds for you, Dean and the girls ❤ I watch often, started last spring with the Pixie channel (my girls love the videos with Lucy and Bella, they are similar ages, especially Disney)(we went to Disney in November) but I never comment, hoping to comment more to help ya out! 😊
I found pixiedustedmom first and followed after a stroller packing video I believe! Then I found spoonful of cleaning in the description (before it became spoonful of Ashley of course) 😘💖
We live farther north and with snow - I have white twinkle lights in every room and it helps so much to combat the dark hours and stay cozy. Also super simple and inexpensive.
I love watching the whole video, I just stumbled upon your content and the first was decorating your kitchen for Christmas I think. I’m not going anywhere and will check out your other channel ❤️
I know your girls are still pretty young and you work on your trips to Disney but have you thought of doing homeschool while there? When I was able to homeschool my son we always did unit studies on Disney related topics before, during, and after. For those of us whole love your content and homeschool it might be a fun video! As a former early childhood teacher too I have tons of activities if your interested! 💜💜💜
You have another channel? I didn't know! I subscribed after finding your Christmas videos I think. I liked your personality and the quality of your videos.
41:52 i vote for part 2! Love chatty videos I can listen to while I do dishes 👍🏻 💜
Yes! Would love a part 2!
i decorate for valentine’s day in jan & feb and then transition to easter for march and april :) decorating for each holiday really helps me not have seasonal depression. my husband requested i leave our trees up and just decorate them for each holiday lol
What a sweet husband! 💞

I found you thru Bekah Hart! First pixie dusted mom then this. If you talk to her tell her we miss her and hope shes well. 💫
I have been missing her too. I sure hope everything is ok.

Yes to a part 2. I love a chatty moment.

For winter, I do a pine, snowman, winter white theme. Then add Valentines 💌 touches for February.
Ooh can we have a quick IG stories tour of your winter decor?! ❄️ because I’m also trying to leave up the twinkles for a little longer! 💜💜
We love you girl!!!!!! Keep hitting those damn stars. This year is yours 💜💜💜
Happy New Year to you and your family!!! Your videos are the highlight of my week because I work from home and your videos keep my company!! 💜💜💜

End of the video club here! 🙋🏻♀️ I love these types of vlogs. I watched/listened as I was cleaning up my house.
I love both your channels, but I find myself getting more excited to see these Spoonful ones come out on my feed ❤
💜🎆🎇 can’t wait to celebrate these exciting goals coming to life with you Ashley! Happy new year!!

I love both of your channels! I found Pixie first then this channel. My little girls and I watch Pixie together and let the ads play of course! I love this channel. I can relate to your content so much. I work part time and am home with my littles most of the time. Love ya! 💜🎆
So interesting! I folded laundry too! Part 2 pretty please!

I vote for a part 2!
First, you are awesome. Second, would love to see more of these. Third, as someone who also struggles with debt - i thank you for your vulnerability. I can relate and would love to hear more of your tips, and suggestions. I think more of us struggle with it than people might think and it's always nice when you can relate.
Saludos desde Missouri USA ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

✨2025 ✨
Happy
New
Year!!!
🥳
Happy New Year!! 🎆 💜
Will your Disney channel change as your kids become school-age and the workload for kids start to increase with academics? Obviously your other channel deals with giving tips for taking young kids to Disney. Will it switch to taking school-age kids to Disney?
Happy New Year 💜🎊💜🎊
unrelated note, but every time you folded a princess dress, my heart smiled! oh to be 3 and 5 years old 🥹
Great video🎉😊
💜💜💜 happy new year to you and your family
I liked this video. I started watching your Disney channel when prepping for our first trip with kids. I watch tons of your videos and rewatched several times. They were very well done. My husband and I actually met you on that trip (Aug.2024) in the MK baby centre. I said hi but didn’t want to chat because I worried you likely find that odd - perfect strangers coming up and talking to you as if you’re friends. I really enjoyed this video and would watch another part 2. I like when creators to get to know you videos.
💜
Part 2!! ❤🎉
I feel the mom guilt thing 10000 percent. You described it perfectly!
💜💜🧨🧨Happy New Yesr!🎉Would love to watch a part 2.
Yes a part 2!!!!!❤❤❤
Keep going, Ashley. You are doing great. 🎉
are you guys not renewing this year?
I found pixiedustedmom first and followed after a stroller packing video I believe! Then I found spoonful of cleaning in the description (before it became spoonful of Ashley of course) 😘💖
How long have you lived with your parents? When do you plan to move into your own home??
Love these! Yes, part 2, please!
I always keep my snowman and everything else away.i love you answer questions have a great week
We live farther north and with snow - I have white twinkle lights in every room and it helps so much to combat the dark hours and stay cozy. Also super simple and inexpensive.
Love these videos! Ready for part 2!
I love watching the whole video, I just stumbled upon your content and the first was decorating your kitchen for Christmas I think. I’m not going anywhere and will check out your other channel ❤️
Part 2!! 💜 🎉
I’d like a part 2 💜!
