- Hey everyone, Yui here, in this video we will be making this stylised mushroom house in blender. This scene was actually made for the cgboost mushroom house contest, and also the animation is now an NFT.
We will be modelling, and texturing a simple house, mushrooms that are wrapped around the house, smaller mushroom and trees right within blender. 🥳🎉

16:30 Using a lamp (or worst, emission shader) trapped around glass is a bad idea for rendering in cycles.
Yaya the artifacts are pretty bad, combining it with a transparent shader kinda gives it a bit less artifacts
@@YuiNukey Ray will bounce maximum time(set in light path settings) before resolving and will likely not resolve as glass have roughness make it more random, fewer photons will go to the camera, and more caustics. This phenomenon will increase exponentially as the size of the object (in pixels) is large in camera view.
(I learned that from renderfarm cost experience ^^)

One of the hardest tutorials I've followed so far, but very much worth it. For the future, I'd love if you outlined the things we were going to build, I thought we were done multiple times but then new things just kept coming.

does each geometry get colorized automatically on its own? what function is it?

I don't specifically have any but u can get the basis from a material course in blender market , here for the mushroom the main thing is how I used polar coordinates to make.the waves circular
