I had NO idea that you were on her, Sandra! I still have 2 of your books - used to make a lot of clothes! I have used a stack of small Post-it notes as a seam marker for a long time since I can put some in a couple of places in order to have a solid block to that side of the seam. I loved my magnetic seam gauge but it doesn't stick on the front area of my machine. I love my fancy but miss some of the control I got on my old mechanical machines!
I also didn’t know Sandra was on here. I have been following Sandra for years as well. Sandra and Nancy were the tv sewing teachers of my generation. Thank both of you so much for sharing your sewing knowledge with us. (Nancy posthumously. RIP)
@@mmills5951 My kids still roll their eyes when I say anything about Sewing With Nancy. I used to tape them every Saturday morning - once accidentally taping over a favorite but unmarked movie they had recorded way back in the 90s when they were teenagers. I laugh. I was the MOM!
Hello, I am a new subscriber. I found this very interesting, and my favorite items were the marking tools, the water bottle, the plastic pattern holders, the bottles with snap on lids to hold things, I have been using empty pill bottles, but I like the bottles you have shown better. the tape to put on the machine looks interesting, I may try that. I was surprised though that you didn't show the variety of fabrics they also have as well as other craft supplies. It is all sewing lol.
I want to know what kind of dollar store sells Frixion pens and those Fons and Porter pens! You must have some bougie dollar stores where you live. 😁 Some great ideas, especially the coin holders for bobbins. And the highlighters for pattern sizes
I had no idea they had a you tube channel. He’s always been awesome. So glad this came up on my feed. I still have several of her books.
Thank you.
Oh wow. I love the highlighting idea on the pattern
The glow tape is for marking your quilting rulers.
First item shown is great for putting thread and bobbins together.

Painters tape will give you a measured width between rows
did you find the Kai scissors at dollar tree??
I am always confused by experienced sewing people who dont know the difference betweej notions and swing aids.
In my opinion, if you are going to be so critical of an item you present on your channel then don't show it...thus the thumbs down
