Took my mother, almost took my father, and took this seemingly beautiful soul. Too soon.
Painful and horrible to watch. However towards the end there comes a calmness in knowing and accepting that this world is temporary.
I have cancer I take my days by day.I have family visits when my husband go to work. I'm by myself on the weekends my son comes home and visits when I'm hurting try not to show just take my pain meds lay down rest. Sometimes it's hard to stay active but that's life. I stay prayed up

My dad died to cancer 10 months ago 😢
One of the good guys, he fought for equal pay, he was kind and humble. And he brought the World through his performance a superhero that changed lives. He died too young but he will long be remembered. Rip to a great not just in acting talent but in humanity.

They were the only two superhero movies ever to break 2 billion worldwide gross. Black Panther made 897 million, less than half of those other movies. And honestly, honestly, if it wasn’t the first black superhero in a big budget film for a long time, it would’ve done way worse. My buddy from high school (16 years ago, still in touch) is a black man and he told me that his family and friends basically bullied him into seeing this movie not once but twice (he doesn’t like superhero movies). “If you don’t see it you’re betraying your race!!!” It’s a decent movie by Marvel standards, except for the last CGI fight which is garbage…. But if this movie was called “white Panther“ about some Russian tough guy, it never would have broke 500 million worldwide. This movie was like a community event for African-Americans here in the states. You had to spend money to see it multiple times, or you’re no longer accepted in your community. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard a black man say “I don’t want to watch Black Panther because I don’t care but apparently if I don’t, I hate Black people, despite being one myself”. People got guilt tripped into seeing this movie. I enjoy it, but it’s not amazing.

That's how my Dad "conquered" cancer and death. R.i.P. Dad and Chadwick and all those who died to this dreaded disease. ❤

It is possible that the character was supposed to die even if Chadwick was still playing him, yeah. But I feel he was talking about himself. He seemed like the type of person to joke about that, in a good way, to keep himself at ease. We all have our ways of coming to terms with mortality.

I remember coming in from outside, and my mom relaying the news to me that he had died. I was in complete shock and broke down. This man did make a wish for children with cancer while battling cancer, and still did his best to perform in movies as he was dying. He was true at heart, and so courageous rest in peace… I will always keep you in my heart, even though we never knew each other you still inspire me to push beyond measures

My sister was rushed to the hospital at 20 - her blood pressure was dropping and they didn't know why.
They said she's young, she will make it. They performed a procedure and she was stable.
She told my Mom when the doctor left she wasn't going to make it and just wanted her to know.
Before the son rose she went to be with GOD.

I went to school with Chad & we grew up in the same Neighborhood. We both grew up in Anderson, SC and attended TL Hanna High School. He was Class of 95 and I was Class of 97. I can still see him walking the Halls with his Jansport bookbag smiling and cracking jokes with his Friends. We weren't close bc he was older than me, but we always spoke when we saw each other. Our Moms were both Registered Nurses at the local hospital and sometimes I would run into him at hospital when we both would be up there to see our Moms.
