- Installed a HornBlasters Conductor's Special Model 540 Train Horn Kit on my 2010 Nissan Xterra so I decided to post this small video showing just how insanely loud this train horn really is. The factory stock horn was replaced with the dual trumpets Wolo Air horn model 714 with upgraded 808C 23 psi compressor (initial beeps). I thought that was loud...it's not even close!! lol
Air compressor and horns are all tucked underneath where the spare tire used to be. Tank is underneath as well, just in front of the rear differential.
Thanks for posting this. Didn't know what model to go with until I heard this one. I noticed the first honk was quieter. So can you switch between the two?
Tucked away up high behind the rear bumper.
Sounds good. Who did the install for you? I'm looking to get the exact model but want a good installer.
wow that's sick!! Where did you mount the air compressor?
Haha!!🤣 that's fuckin awesome
what did you do to make them sound like that?? they sound good!
The train horn has a separate dash mounted push button switch.
Where is it all located? Saw the comment where the air compressor is.
See the comment I just posted above.
how did you get them to sound like that ?
Forgot to add I live in Tampa also
why is it soft the first time then loud the second time??
The first time is the regular horn. The second is the train horns. Just to compare.
cactipis are they awesome? i just purchased the conductors special 540 and am pumped to get them installed
They are awesome and insanely loud. Use with caution though. They demand respect or you'll find yourself in a heap of trouble.
Believe it or not, the 2 little meep meeps you hear at first are actually pretty loud too. They just get ridiculously dwarfed by the train horns...lol.
overall a good product? lives up to expectations?
I was like wtf that is weak as hell and then AAGGHHH
