Very confused as why the Paleo player didn’t just use daruma in the battle phase

For the paleo player - why don’t you just leave field spell up and use daruma? Instead of booking all of them they will be sent to GY

That's the issue they ran into in game 1 - Daruma cannot be activated unless at least one monster can be flipped faced down.

@@ethangreen2907 If you watch carefully you'll realize there was none in the gy at that stage. When the paleo player summoned back the DInomischus in question and used Olenoides later, they had no paleos to chain.
