One of them, if not both, is definitely using Modern. That's why they hid it lmao. I don't even see a problem with it tbh. Modern and Classic both have benefits and drawbacks. The one-button specials and supers can seem appealing at times tho; plus the auto confirm on normals is crazy.
Parry the projectiles and if they keep spamming you can use a reversal through it once you've close space I know that might seem harder than how it sounds. All the ones I've played have tried to zone with that and I used that strat and got through 9 times outta 10

Though, it is true that there were 2 sets of closed betas and people like Maximilian Dood got invited to both of them, so yeah some people definitely got more pre-release practice than others, which seems unfair; but trust me, you WANT Capcom to have these betas so they can work out all the kinks before full release.
Ken has been better than Ryu for a long time. The combos and all. I’m a Ryu fan but Ken gameplay is more enjoyable. I just think they need to add something to Ryu. I feel like he’s missing something

I think they made it balance since he's fighting style is already broken might aswell lower the combo damage...my opinion though some might not agree...
Parry is done with MP+MK. You can hold it down to get a regular parry, which is essentially just a block button that uses meter. A perfect parry, however, is a 2 frame window from the moment you press the mediums. A perfect parry is the "true parry" you're thinking of, which gives you a punish if you pull it off.
Guile still says "Sonic boom" when you throw one, but he now has a mechanic where if you shoot the boom right as it reaches max charge, you get a more powerful "perfect boom", hence the alternate voice line (shooting in jap, perfect in English). Since these are high level matches, they nail the timing pretty much every time, and you only hear the perfect boom voice line
@Sololyn So lenient that it's probably harder to get a normal boom. Which, believe it or not, you could want to do since they are a tad slower and you can bait perfect parry attempts and force them to waste drive gauge.

Basically you buffer the mediums at the end of a dash, and it comes out on frame 1, rather than holding mediums, then dashing.

Has nothing to do with max charge. You just hit punch and forward at the same time. Just like an ewgf in tekken with way more lenient timing
