So impressed with your natural fishing skills, seem so effortless watching how you do it. Your videos are very engaging and informative. What a fabulous socal fisherman, a genuine person with great character. Thanks for sharing your work!
You guys really need to post a lot more it's almost been a year since your last upload
Awesome to see you guys posting vids again....can't wait to see more. See you on the water.
Evan great video bro. Thanks for all the tips keep up the good work.
appreciate the netting and respect for the fish!
Awesome video. I enjoy watching vids of peeps catching fish, but more importantly the information that is passed within some of these videos!...and this video is packed with some awesome info! Thanks for all of it, from your rig setup, to your fishery knowledge. Videography is killer...we all want to hear that zing of the reel after a cast goes out...we love hearing those drag washers burn'n up! Close ups of fishing being taken off the hook...seems very basic, but that's what I enjoy. Great job!
Thanks for keeping us inspired Christien!
Christien Escobar ya
Awesome video like always great to see you and the crew back on the water. Keep up the great work Evan looking forward to seeing more!
Stoked you're back! Keep em coming
Welcome back Evan!
I see you are Western Waters now! No wonder you're new stuff isn't found in Basstic! Love your continued videos!
this is really good. it is good even if it is content marketing. I learned stuff, and it got me stoked to fish. mission accomplished.
Wow! Awesome hookups ! Nice tady put in nice work !
Went to catalina a few weeks ago an it was pretty awesome. Caught a few yellows and a ton of calicos and bonita. I was using my lexa 300 on a phenix abyss rod. Yellows are starting to slow down though
It’ll be nice to be a smaller boat at Catalina island then to be on a big charter boat with 40 other fishermen’s
tuna time thanks for vid
I love yellowtail fishing on the curado but it's time to use a stronger reel when your competing with seals
Evan, Great video! Great to see you fishing again! Nice to see that you have sponsors. Any bonito left in So. Cal?
Tonnage this year! Wait until you see our next episode, they make a strong showing.
It's been cool watching you grow up through watching your fishing videos. You are very lucky to be able to do what you love for a living...do you still go to school? I try to put an age on you, I want to say your maybe 20? Your videos are great and I wish you all the best on your life's journey.
hey evan its lucas from teamreel its great to see you again on youtube thats a kick ass video and sorry about my friend jake on instagram he is off my team because of the disrespectful moves like that. nice to see you again and i look foreward to seeing more

Great video aren't you guys glad I taught you how to throw the iron.
sweet video
I rely enjoyed watching you fish there Gilligan but your skipper side kick was a little thin for a skipper 8-)~ all joking aside i thought it was rely great video learned some new stuff going try a big surface iron next time on them calico's at Catalina.
Kool vid
Love ur vids 👍👍👍
Should have went to the East end of Catalina on the backside throw some lights out and he would have cut some and there's plenty of lights in the back here
Great vid!! More please. Also, when you were catching the yellowtail, your cousins rod had a monster hook keeper. Mine didn't come with one. Did you put that on there yourself?
The rod with the large hook keeper is a Greg Silks signature series swimbait rod. The oversized hook keeper is designed for large jointed swimbaits, but works great for inshore and offshore applications.
Great video like to know where in HB you located i like to see the rods you use. I think it will be a great striper rod also.
Nice video
good stuffffff Evan
Yo great to watch a new vid from u guys, i was wondering if u could put me in the right direction for a solid weedless and swim-bait set-up. An ur stoke for fishing is badass man.
I wish I could catch a damn yellowtail
how much for a rod like that
what was the gear ratios on your lexa's? 7:1:1 or 5:1:1?
Very nice episode as always. May I ask what kind of gloves you're sporting? I'm on the market for a new pair.
Oh, and others have already asked this question, but yes, what is the color name of that iron? Thanks
What gear ratio is your lexa's your using? What lb test braid and how much of it fits on it?
I got the 8.1:1 stuck on 300+ yards of 50 LBS. I still can’t find a rod in stock at around 200- dollars to pair it with. Any recommendations?
Great vids Evan. Thanks for the tips.
Do you fish with shimano waxwing lures for calico?
Thanks
Peace
Good to see a freshy
Any tips you can give on calico? Heading out to long beach this weekend for a few hours
If youre a beginner, try fly lining chunks of mackerel with a livebait hook and splitshots. If you are pretty seasoned and know what your doing try using a swimbait or an iron, but switch up to the chunks of mack if they arent hitting the artificials. And if you do fly line chunks of mack, make sure you catch them the day before at the pier so you can have the freshest bait. The next best bait is live anchovies or sardines. Good luck
Never complain about yellows.
I don’t think lexa 400’s are bass reels with a solid 25 pounds of drag they are pretty sturdy I’ve seen 70 pound bluefin caught on a lexa 400
What is the name of the color of the iron?
Try fly fishing. Caught and released too many to count. Good video, make more, press on !
Lol 100th like
Also nice vid
What swimbaits where you using?
What reels were you guys using?
I don't recognize this spot in Catalina? Is this the back side?
Can you put links to the rods?
Yo does anyone know the name of song in beginning?
What type of line and strength are you using?
65 lb. Spectra, 25-50 lb. fluorocarbon leader
How deep of water wr you in
Where do you get uni butter
Squidco or just search it up on google
Love how he has $200 sunglasses and puts duct tape on it to save if from falling.
Is this tuna?
@James BuffJust go fishing man
you guys have a facebook page?
When is blair wiggins going to come over and get on the bite
It must be nice to be a trust fund baby and be able to fish all the time.
Yeah, it's epic! Especially when I get to pad that trust fund with fishing revenue every day. At this point, I think I'll just donate it to some foundation that benefits people with mental illness, that way you can get a piece of the pie, ya kook!
It must be nice to be an internet troll and insult people all the time.
+James Buff Well James some people work for Tackle Company's and show there wares and other people suck septic tanks for a living. The kids got a good jig and shows passion for his chosen profession so let him shine and you keep sucking septic tanks I'm sure your good at it.
It’s a shame you guys abandoned this channel
Try fly fishing. Caught and released too many to count. Good video, make more, press on !
