Imagine if they were to strip Usyk and Dubois beat Hrgovic, now they would have stripped Usyk of a title to give the the guy he just put on his knees 1 fight ago. SMH. Hrgovic got dropped twice by Zhang then hasn’t fought nothing but club bouncers in last couple years like how does that earn him a shot at anything?
His ranking in the IBF, I know it sucks but that how boxing works, it is fractured so u can fight to be ranked in the IBF while another is ranked in the WBC, so for IBF u may be number one contender when a better boxer never fought to be ranked for IBF and only focused on WBO or WBC. If that makes sense
@@BoxingFanaticoI think we all understand that, but it’s necessary to point out the stupidity of it all. We need boxing to be more unified. Too many champions is not good for the sport.

Fury might not get the chance for undisputed, but at least he would get the chance to be the Lineal champion for real this time.
He was lineal when he beat Wlad for the WBC Wlad beat Samuel Peter for the belt therefore Fury became lineal champion from his win….. it was vacated after he “retired” but he was still lineal at the time
@@BoxingFanatico Neither Wlad or Samuel Peter were undisputed. As Usyks team pointed out in the press conference. After Lennox retired a new lineage needed to be established with an undisputed number one. Wlad and Vitali held all the belts but wouldn't fight each other. Wladimir was assumed number 1 after Vitali retired, but he didnt have all the belts to show it. Not everyone agrees that Wlad was lineal, it is "disputed". When Marciano broke the previous chain by retiring undefeated, a tournament was held to establish a new undisputed champion. Floyd Patterson won and a new chain started, which went through Liston, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, etc, etc all the way to Lennox Lewis's retirement. If you accept Wladimir as Lineal champ, he'd be the 1st to ever start a new lineage without being undisputed champ. The increased number of belts has made it all a bit messy.
There is also the small asterix of Fury testing positive for nandrolone in 2015 accepting a backdated 2 year ban. Some use that as the case against Fury's lineal claim. I don't personally.
Seriously, being stripped of the Belt does not strip him of his achievements, Fury failed to fulfil his quest for Undisputed Heavyweight glory, Usyk succeeded in winning the Undisputed Heavyweight Title, any dispute is just peripheral noise, Fury lost, Usyk won, BaddaBoopBaddaBing.
He shouldn't to begin with, but if so, then Usyk should retire cause he has nothing else to prove. Usyk is the Goat of this era of boxing. Usyk is the King of the heavyweight devision.

Usyk has nothing to prove. Anything he does going forward is minimal reward max dangers. Sure he can smack fury flabby ass around for 12 more rounds but he gains nothing.
man the whole world seems to be babysitting the Fury clan ...how bent and crocked is boxing, you think they would do that for Usyk Nah ...the fight will be fixed if its close ...like the francis fight , anyway Fury will get sparked out and eddy needs that belt for AJ to rule means nothing

@@BoxingFanatico I don’t think it was close at all honestly. Rounds 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11 were definitely Usyk. And that is with me giving Fury rounds 7 and 12 which were actually swing rounds that could have been given to Usyk because he landed a couple of extra blows. Consider the 10-8 score in round 9 because of the kd and then it’s clear Usyk won by 3 points at worst. NOT CLOSE BRO.

@@BoxingFanatico I guess in that sense it was close. When I consider the rounds that could have reasonably gone to Usyk even though myself and many others gave them to Fury I tend not to feel that way anymore. I rewatched the fight and counted punches and Usyk actually outlanded Fury in 7 and 12, and fury was moving backwards again. My second scoring of the fight isn’t close. But I respect your opinion. At least the right guy got his hand raised. How do you see a rematch playing out?
