Love the Nativity set, and that you have several displayed. We also removed Baby Jesus until Christmas morning, my kids are now your age, but still a wonderful memory. We always received a homemade coffee cake from a neighbor, and we would add a candle to it and sing Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus at breakfast. Blessing to you and your sweet family. 🎄
Love your new nativity scene. We did a handmade Christmas one year. We made all the tree ornaments and other decorations for around the house. My kids still remember it and talk about how special it was.
What a great haul!! I especially loved the new Nativity to add to your collection 🙏 so perfect for children to play with too, I made a point of buying some child friendly Nativity sets for my grandchildren to play with this year and I got my 5 year old granddaughter her first “grown up” Nativity ornament for Advent and she was delighted with it and it was such a blessing for me to see how happy she was to receive it 🙏🙏❤️
How is your advent season going? I’ve been adjusting my expectations so I can maintain my inner rest through this season. I will share our kitchen backsplash reveal soon!! We are so happy with it!
Love the nativity, so nice! The little straw ornaments are cute too. I loved that little blue and white oil lamp you passed up, i have several of the small ones i just use for decorations. I have larger ones too but i only use them for decorations also, i just think they're so pretty and with a candle our some greenery at Christmas they're really cute! Enjoying your videos😊
I have found that goodwill and other thrift stores are really raising prices. I think to combat the folks buying cheap at thrift stores and reselling items for profit.
I love that your videos are faith based. Your ideas on motherhood are so beautiful. You're an inspiration to young moms. I'm a 65 year old and I love seeing a young mom take such care with her children's life. Have a blessed Christmas.
Hi Emily, I love the vintage ornaments and the nativity scene. I love that it was handmade. It always makes me to see handmade items and gifts at the thrift store. I feel like I need to buy them.
I really enjoyed this video. I always call those baskets offering plates which I pin to my collage wall in the Fall. But this year I used them as bread baskets (which they are) in my Fall centerpiece. I found out about a decade ago, that some people don’t add Jesus to their Nativity until Christmas morning, I had no idea, but it makes perfect since! I’m glad you picked up the Nativity, it’s so unique 😊
Thanks so much for letting me know 🥰 and I love those ideas for using them! You guys always make me regret not getting items once you tell me how you use yours! ❤️ haha next time!
My granddaughter and I crafted a button photo frame this Christmas. She gave it to her great gran with a lovely photo. Last year we made sock rice snow men .
I love the straw ornaments and your ideas for advent. I thought the one straw ornament represented a pine cone and another comment said that too. My children are all grown now but it was great to hear your traditions. I have a few oil lamps. They are great when the lights go out or to enjoy in the winter. There are videos showing how to use them and what to make sure works on them if buying used.

So sweet and simple 🤍
The straw ornaments are traditional scandinavian, probably Swedish. The one younheld up and asked what it was is supposed to be a pinecone i believe.
Oh maybe!! Lol I’m such a Floridian not knowing what a pinecone looks like 😂

Aww how special!

Awww so sweet!!!
The basket with the little hoop handle reminded me of a collection basket at church
Someone else said that too!! I think that’s it 🥰

Straw ornament set is so sweet, love that you’re giving them to kids for advent gifts too
They are loving those!
yes they showed me the tree with glee ❤
Those shallow baskets with a handle (Often a long straight handle) are vintage church offering baskets. They typically sell really well in my booth.
That’s awesome!! Oh I should have grabbed it! Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🤍
I see those baskets with handles too sometimes and I always wonder!
Right!? Reminds me of a candle 🕯️but I’m sure it’s not that haha
Tray was a good deal and very versatile too.
I think so too!
I like to use trays in the bathroom to ‘cluster the clutter’ :)
Loved the nativity
So unique right 🥰
Keep up the positive videos Emily! I will do my best to think “rest” this advent, which includes the mind for me.
Absolutely 🤍 thank you
Good finds! My favorite is the nativity. I love that you add crafts and learning to your advent. You look like you are feeling well. Tyfs HUGS 🙏🎄🎅🤶🙏
Thank you!! I need to share a pregnancy update soon. But mostly doing well 💕
I love the wood nativity set. May you and your family have a blessed second week of advent.
Thank you! God bless ❤️

I should have gotten that one 🙈 your collection sounds lovely!
That nativity base looks like oak, but I’d say that the pieces are walnut. They don’t have the same grain as the oak.🥰
Could be!!

Probably! But everything is more pricey these days so it kind of makes sense 😩
You can actually just use a cheaper light olive oil in those lamps!
Good to know!! I should have grabbed it!
