Four singles were released from Hybrid Theory: "One Step Closer", "In the End", "Crawling" and "Papercut", all of them being responsible for launching Linkin Park into mainstream popularity.

"Runaway", "Points of Authority", and "My December" were from the special edition bonus disc album and were not released as singles.

Nirvana w/ Kurt Cobain defined a generation in the 90s, a grunge movement that no-one predicted. For most of us that was Chester and Linkin Park in the 2000s. Once in a lifetime feeling we can't recapture.

Linkin Park had something that no other band had - Chester Bennington. But also everyother part clicks, guitars are amazing, mike is pure gold, those scratches of hahn and drums and bass are spot on. Pure Gold.

You can like or dislike Queen, but the fact that Freddie was one of the most talented vocalists (with 4 octave vocal range ) is undisputed. For me Chester Bennington is a legend among vocalists like Freddie and many others, in the pantheon of rock vocalists he is at the very top, god like vocal levels. Besides Linkin Park is a mark of a era, where MTV played good music, before the Kanye West level music ( dat dude has 0 talent for example )
Dead by Sunrise and Grey Daze also features Chester and there are some very good songs on their albums.

Chester was such a good human being. I will forever remember his impact.
When I was 15 a friend gave me a mix CD with a bunch of Linkin Park songs. I was a fan since then, I miss the days of making CDs with meaningful songs for your friends, the 2000s was amazing.
MTV is what got me hook back in the day. 2000 and 2001
My mom bought the album and my siblings and I grew up listening to it.
I didn't even know it had music videos for the songs until I was a teenager 😭
One day i found untitled cassette audio tape, played it and found the music so cool. I was listening it so much, the tape ripped. And i didn't even know who that was. Only year later i found out that it was linkin park
