@@alimahvan If your not mechanical at all I would say it's not for you. Not that you cannot learn. It's not an aircraft you check the oil and put fuel in and go.
@@alimahvan If you build it, you will know it. An A&P could do it but first he would have to understand its workings. I am sure there are others that are using a A&P. You still need to understand when something is not right and needs attention before something bad happens. A builder that is near by can give good advice besides the company. Find one near you to look at.
Hi Baron, that certainly looks like a great place to be flying from. I see you are climbing out at 120 mph? I assume you still have the gear down in the initial part of climb (can't tell about flaps).( You'll know the gear/flap limiting speeds is 100mph or so). I'm guessing you find the Honda hard to slow down in the climb, without getting into quite a steep ascent. Is this right?

Still can't believe how quick she seemed to go up, but there must have been a stiff breeze. After the Honda was flying, I shipped out to a decent airfield and during testing found her climb rate to be a bit of a shock. I was used to 1200-1400 ft per minute. Suddenly she wanted to climb off at 1750 fpm, and at an extreme angle when slowed to under flap/gear limiting speed. But once I got used to it, it certainly makes the cows look smaller.Happy flying and stay in touch. Ben

Took about 10 yrs. I was working two jobs and building in between. I did all the work myself except a second hand bucking some flush rivets and body man to spray it for me after I did the tapping. Plus extra modification and changes take more time as well.
@@sonicapollo Oh sorry and yes the T6 will ground loop nicely but pretty much only if you forget to lock the tailwheel. No such problem with the T51. It's a great bird.
@@MrLunchHour2 Go to their online site and it's all spelled out in case they have made changes. Your beings so close to the factory is a big plus and by all means, just go over and visit them. Your very lucky to be that close to them.

Oh, it's a fun bird but require constant checking of the aircraft and looking for things that could go wrong.

They were making a speed wing which I believe was a little longer. A limited number of those.

All tuff here, so 10 degrees on flaps on departure and gear up as soon as I am off the ground.

The Honda is working very well. The only thing that would make it better is if I had the V8 up there.
Looks like a really fun plane to fly. Is it more like flying a modern aircraft, or warbird?
I would say a little of both as I have time in an AT6 as well. You must respect the machine or it will bite you.

Oh gosh no. Maybe half that depending on the other stuff you put in it besides the basic kit. Go to the Titan site and price it out.

Yes there is a back seat and a bag compartment up front and also to the rear plus a hat rack.
