It's really interesting to see their restraint and precision in how they use the siren and even different sirens. The lights make them somewhat seen and stand out but the siren/different sirens that are used give urgency, direction and immediacy in their instruction; almost even attitude. If they had a siren on all the time or even the same all the time, like they do in over countries, they may not get the same response from other road users.

Have to say the St. John’s ambulances have a much better light set up. Loads more flashing lights than the NHS.
