Oh God Mathew, this is one of my most favorite songs ever. Even as a kid I loved it. The voluptuous moves of Nanda and crooning Shashi without her knowing all so beautifully captured. Thank you for reviewing it. 🙏
This is a classic song, and I'm surprised it's listed at #No. 43 of 'The 100 Greatest B'Wood Songs'. I would've placed it much higher, at least in the top 10 for sure. I don't know much about this film, and I had no idea that Shashi Kapoor was popular in North Africa and Marrakesh. Shashi Kapoor is a great actor, and I love watching his films, so I'll have to watch this one for sure :)
I agree, this song is among my top 10 hindi songs. love the rythem, the music, the singing and even the picturization. everything is top notch . the 60's gave us some of the best Indian film music.
Matthew You have analysed the song from a cinematic point of view and that's great. As a Brit, you analysing this song makes me feel so good. But in those days people rarely had access to the video. This song was more popular for the singing by Lata ji, Music by Kalyanji Anandji with a flavour of Laxmi Pyare's style of music, and ever beautiful lyrics by Anand Baxi. The poetry shows how to dream of someone you love. The singing is perfect as ever by Lata ji. No other singers could match that level of quality
One cannot but fall in love with the beauty that dazzles the eyes of the beholder. She will not even know the hearts of men she broke while watching the big screen. Thank you
Amazing sounds and picturisation. I remember watching this in a Drive in cinema in Nairobi when I was just old enought to keep on asking for some cola and chips from the kiosk under the projection room! Good memories from too many years ago.
Hmm not deep and thoughtfull..that’s just silly dreams of every silly young woman awaiting for dream prince. Singing quality is of course very high quality.
Today's bollywood directors & producers must listen to your reviews., they've forgotten their roots
Thank you sir
Sad, that they don't produce such classics anymore..... Bollywood is dead....🙂⁉️
One of kalyanji anandji's best compositions such a sensual and sweet song no vulgarity just singing and expressing emotions
Nanda is truly beautiful...so gracefull, and I love her expressions. Thank you for this reaction!
She’s singing “This is the time to meet someone of my heart desire, to steal my heart, to talk of love and to get lost in our thoughts.”
You are correct it's classy, innocent and magical cinema-power. All you said is true. Some Indians can't get the power of this video.

Sounds like a break up song
@@rupa1027 how do you come to that conclusion?? Listen to the lyrics. It’s a song of hope and will and desire to find love, of waiting.
No no I didn't reply on your comment. Someone else has written that these hindi songs have very silly lyrics of silly girls on that I replied
Isn't it intensely gorgeous!
@@TheCamerad yes, it is indeed!!

This is such a legendary song 💓
Do ypu know this song inspired from clasdic spanish song.....
Sound of songs are always off-track in your videos which makes them unwatchable (if that's s word). So work on that.
