Got Rid of Our Already Amazing Funktion One Sound System on Main Floor New Epic 24 inch Subwoofers

In my opinion by far the Best Sound System in the world!
Rome was not built in one day, neither was the world famous Lost Beach Club in Montanita Ecuador. The club standsout to any other becuase of its amazing sound systems on its 3 dance floors. First it was the Funktion One Res 2 Stacks with 18 inch subwoofers that blew everyone away on our main floor, Later we upgraded to the evolution line by F1 with evo 7's and evo 6's, and less than 2 years later we came up with this new configuration that no one yet uses with Evo7's 6 15" woofers on each side with the new 24 inch double voice coil subwoofers. Our sound systems were installed and designed by Mark Metkalf from Blue Box London. They are know form taking the F1's to Space Club Ibiza and many other superclubs all over the world.

I like Funktion One but Martin Audio MLA and WLA is just as good although the horizontal dispersion is too wide for a small venue they're used outdoors where a very wide audience have to be reached.

Heard several Funktion One installations. They are a bit lower in upper-mid nastiness than some of the cheaper horn or related systems out there. However, event their best in 2021-2022 does not compare, or come close to high fidelity.
They are still very harsh, fatiguing and having all sorts of issues compared to a great non-horn loaded or related system.
Even some of the hybrids like L-Acoustics, D&B and others blow away Function One. Like most of the stuff out there based on horns, these systems need help if we are to have anything approaching great fidelity that does not leave your ears and soul hurting.

There is horn loaded stuff in high end high-fi as well. Like avantegarde. I wouldnt say they sound harsh
