Goddamn I wish they actually used that boss! I heard that the concept was supposed to be you time travelling back and forth, destroying each piece of the robot in the past so that it doesn't exist in the future. That would've been sick. Seriously wonder why they scrapped it.
While Sonic was able to break all the generators, He failed to collect all Time Stones (only getting one and having it stolen at 2:52) thus with the other six times stones he was able to undo all his failures in the past zones and create a bad future for Little Planet
Try Again?! I though official ending was sonic destroying the robot teleporters not E.G.G.M.A.N getting all 7 times stones and reking the good future as R-9 secret boss battle
Personally, Sonic CD is the best classic Sonic game especially the Christian Whitehead version. I just love it's style. Your animation definitely does it justice.
What about this worst ending quote? It should say: "You lost the Time Stones, Little Planet fell under the control of Robotnik for eternity, You suck at life. The whole world hates you. You're goin' to Hell. Live with it. Game Over." AVGN reaction.
