Where is the prediction of the destruction before its rebuilt? A nevua?

See last daf of masechet makkos, two nevuas were put next to eachother from 2 different prophets from different time periods in one pasuk, one prophet from times of first bais hamikdash and the other from the second. So rabbi akiva wondered why it’s like that, he said you see from here hashem depended the second nevua on the first one. The first nevua spoke about destruction of bais hamikdash and the second spoke about how everyone will walk the streets of yerushalayim. This is why rabbi akiva laughed and smiled about bec once he saw desecration that means that the second nevua will come true bec the second nevua was depended on the first. ( Rabbi akiva obviously believed the nevua will come true but he was worried maybe the second nevua already came true previously by the first bais hamikdash but when he saw the fox running there he understood that this is still a fullfillment of the first nevuah and that means geulah will be coming.

Akiva was the name of one the great Talmud scholars. Nichamtanu means "you have comforted us". In the midst of destruction, Akiva saw the promise of redemption
