Powertrains
2021 Santa Fe now offers three new and improved powertrain options. The standard powertrain is a Smartstream 2.5-liter direct-injected (DI) and multi-point injected (MPI) four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, replacing the former 2.4-liter engine. This standard four-cylinder engine produces an estimated 191 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and an estimated 182 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm for effortless driving in a wide variety of conditions. The powertrain also features Idle, Stop and Go (ISG) capability to maximize efficiency in various heavy traffic conditions.
All-New Hybrid Propulsion System with HTRAC All-Wheel Drive.
Santa Fe Hybrid includes standard HTRAC all-wheel drive. The hybrid powertrain features a Smartstream 1.6-liter, direct-injected, turbocharged four-cylinder engine coupled with a new HEV-tuned six-speed automatic transmission. This new six-speed transmission is specially tuned for optimal efficiency, economy and driving performance in a turbocharged HEV application. The turbo engine yields an estimated output of 178 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, with an estimated 225 horsepower from the combined engine and motor system, and peak torque estimated at 195 lb.-ft. at 4,000 rpm.

Hyundai не стоїть на місці, є нові рішенні нові погляди і це тішить, салон авто дуже приємно здивував але хромована сітка рабіца спереду є якийсь дисонанс в дизайні. Це моя думка я не претендую на істину, але коли ти не закохався с першого погляду і тобі до нього треба звикати, то ти при покупці нового авто вибереш інше яке тобі до душі.
이런 뜨네기 페이스리프트는 안하면 안되나? 2년에 한번씩 소비자만 봉되잖아... 의미없는 페이스리프트 좀 하지 말자

I wouldn’t buy any Hyundai vehicles at this time. There r numbers of incidents happening in Korea. Such as engine related malfunctions that causes burn down the whole vehicle and HD company ignores the facts but blaming the owners and many cases bribing the owners not to talk to the media.

I just leased a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited, and have had the vehicle in the shop twice over the first month of ownership.
The vehicle has a knocking, screeching sound coming from the undercarriage when traveling at slow speed or going over speed bumps. I was told that this maybe within specifications, but I doubt it.
I have owned a lit of SUVs and this is by far the very worst suspension that I have seen in a new vehicle.
Someday this vehicle shall be in my garage😉😉😉

The interior is awesome, but the exterior, especially the front is ugly. I prefer the former versions. The 2018 one! As I own it!
Like most auto manufacturers these days, Hyundai designers have lost their way with the exterior front fascia. There's no continuity between the headlights, running lights, grill work and bumper. It's all disjointed and therefore, unattractive.
Proud owner of Hyundai Tucson 2018 but I am rwally in doubt to switch to Santa Fe. The new model looks beasty.

I purchased a 2017 Sport and I'm very happy with the handling power. If you told me 20 years ago I'd be driving a 4cylinder SUV, I'd have scoffed and said yeah right. The car looks great inside and out. The instrument panel looks like the cockpit of a jet airliner.

If you buy a Hyundai (especially the Tucson and Santa Fe) be prepared to spend minimum of $175-$500 every month on BS problems you will never experience in a quality car like an Honda. Every other month you will have to replace 1-4 0f 6 to 8 catalytic converters that go out for no reason like clock work one after the other. Your gas line will need replacing, then your gas tank that rotted from the inside for no apparent reason. Your check engine light will be on more than it is off. You'll also notice when you hit a bump your car will wobble when the front wheels leave the ground, your passengers will also notice this and ask you if the car is "safe to drive that way"?. When you finally replace head gasket, then the entire engine and decide you've had enough, and sell it for next to nothing, you'll buy yourself an Acura and realize that it never needs maintenance, that it isn't normal to be without your car every other month because it's in the shop again, and you'll swear like I did to NEVER buy another Hyundai again!!!

Poor Quality for the price requested tbh. I got a 2016 Santa Fe, bought as new, and it sucks. Leather steering wheel who gets peeled off at 40k km... and not covered by waranty? Hyundai is a joke.
A 2013 i40, by the time i reached 30k km, changed the clutch on waranty 3 times.... and pb still not fixed? Hyundai is not what it used to be at all. They sell lies.

Could have had a dud..i bought a brand new Hyundai Elantra, had issues with the transmission, brought it in and traded it and havent had a problem since..its been over 3 years. My last Elantra i never had one issue with it. I sold it in good condition after 7 years and had about 140,000 km on it

test drove ultimate. it was impressive. sonata n line has the same engine, but so damn different. sonata was violent, rocky. santa fe was incredibly smooth, with an awesome ride comfort. pricing sucked though. dealer wanted 59k. wtf...
So, this new Santa Fe is a 5 seater.. bcos of Hybrid Battery they had to compromise the 3rd row..! :-(
