That is the epitome of a pure rock performance, if you had just arrived from another planet that is the one I would show you. Everything about this show was epic.
Yes, that is Awesome Glenn...if this doesn't get your blood pumping then best check your pulse. What a 2fer this is, holy crap!!! Nice to see you guys feeling chipper again. Keep bringing them on, this show is incredible. Cheers.
I think they changed the thumbnail for the HYCAD video from the Pepsi Center to match the other ones they have been releasing. It is a nice attention to detail.
If you remember what Pau said in her Gear Master video. About her dad cut a drum cage down to her size. When Pau started to use her *"CAGE"* (in 2019). Her drumming improved dramatically. Everything is compact and at a precise place where she can reach it fast. Everything is locked in its place.
We all know how confident these ladies are normally but that home crowd of 8,000 people somehow elevated that confidence into space! You can hear & see it, amazing! Thank you Mexico!! ⚡️🤘
Two amazing songs performed perfectly and combined into a major banger doesn't get any better than this. DPA are amazing this has become my favorite song from this show and that's saying a lot because let's face it this show is incredible huge kudos to TW team for presenting such epic videos. Great reaction thanks guys. 🔥⚡
TWA often comments that Dull Knives (Cut Better) is the “best 3 minutes in rock”. I now submit that the D2D/DK(CB) combo is the “best 7 minutes in rock”. The extended ending of D2D is perfection transitioning into DK(CB). The only possible thing that could have made this even a little better would have been if Ale had played her Lunario into of D2D in addition to the rest of the awesomeness we just witnessed.
Nice Reaction! On Oct. 15 (as you may already know) The Warning is hooking up with Halestorm and Evanescence in Vancouver for 9 shows. Hopefully that will be a good experience for them and especially Pau. It seems like Pau and Amy might have a little in common with each other and maybe get to spend some time together.
Without a doubt, the girls have perfected their performance and refined their way of playing the instruments as well as their voices, but if you accompany all of this with an excellent set of lights and stage design, the concert becomes brutally good. Good reaction. Greetings. Sin lugar a dudas las chicas han perfeccionado su actuación y refinado su forma de tocar los intrumentos así como sus voces y si a todo eso lo acompañas con un excelente juego de luces y diseño de escenario el concierto se hace brutalmente bueno. Buena reaccion. Saludos.
The Pittsburgh show was truly special and that balcony video captures it well. There was no rail and we were literally touching the stage; I could have easily run Holy Wars guitarist's pedals for him. Outside of a private show, I'm not sure I'll ever get to see TW again in such intimate setting. I look forward to your reaction/review of the show!
Scott, it was so cool hearing from you and others afterwards that it might be the best show they’ve seen. Makes me really proud of my hometown. Glenn, please do the Pittsburgh show, that would be so cool! That was my first show, I started out up against the stage as well. when they opened the doors and people started coming in, I realized quickly that there was no way I could stay there. Anxiety and claustrophobia won out. The cool thing about the Thunderbird, Café and Music Hall is, I moved back to the sound booth, which was all the way back at least 15 feet from the stage, lol. What a great, great venue. It’s funny, I lived in that neighborhood for almost 20 years. Probably drove past the Thunderbird maybe 3000 times, no lie. That was the first time I ever was inside. It’s so unassuming from the outside, looks like just another bar.
I can’t find the comment, but I was told they collaborated with a Grammy winning composer out of LA to do the arrangements….the Pepsi Center Sandman version really stands out.
That’s right, the first time they played back to back D2D and DK like this was in Guadalajara! I was there! 😀 En el Teatro Diana! Then they did it in Monterrey as well, and then at Pepsi Center. Although Pepsi Center was the most complete show. The lucky people who was there (I wasn’t 😢), they had Pau playing “Black Holes” and “Breathe” on the grand piano. In Monterrey only “Black Holes”, and in Guadalajara none of them 😢.
I think Pau’s more “compact” playing is at least partly due to the fact that she is much stronger (judging by her arms and shoulders) than when she was younger. She doesn’t need to flail anymore just to hit hard. 👍😎
YYou are totally right on the technique of Pau's playing. I feel Ale was the first of the three to perfect her playing style, followed by Dany. Then came Pau, going from all over the place to back nice and straight with a true economy of motion. Music maturity, gotta love it.
Great, great reaction! Qué impresionante espectáculo! DPA, diosas del rock, reinas del escenario! Podrían seguir tocando estos temas para siempre, no cansan. The Warning! Thanks Glenn and Adrian. Ese bajo...
I think the first time they did this might have been in Guadalajara, if not, in Monterrey for sure, those were the two prior concerts before the Pepsi center and after returning from South America. Guadalajara was where they played sick and hycad for the first time. There was a sound check while they were in one of the South American venues, where they are playing hycad, guess they were prepping for Mexico. Monterrey was the first place were they used the strings for enter sandman and, I believe Black holes. They didn't do breathe in Monterrey. Guadalajara didn't get the strings. They did do revenant with their "adopted" cousin Pliego Villarreal. Pau was sick, yet still played and sang, though she couldn't sing some of the notes she did at teatro 🎆🎇☄️🌍🌎🌏🌪️🌪️🌪️☀️💥🇲🇽🇺🇸⚠️⚠️⚠️🤘🤘🤘👍♾️🌌🙏😃🕯️🥁🎹🎸❤️💯🎉👏🥳⚡⚡⚡
@@glennandadriansrocktalk I think some guy they knew, probably their dad knew from Monterrey, I think he approached them, but I am not sure. The string ladies are from Monterrey too
I still say this is the best song they ever wrote and the best album to date .as much as I enjoy a lot of the songs on keep me feed you can clearly feel it is not all then , the album has no soul . I pray they never use outside writers again .

Pepsi Center was More emotional , sentimental. I agreed. Big staff and Production , as well. But Poland Rock Festival was More fluent, colored, cool ambient. The bass Production there , was so sensual, playful . . .Different ways, as you prefer.

@@larserickson2862 i will add to play queen of the murder scene by the solo and the recipe like to cherry in the top of cake xD
I loved both performances in this video, but that transition between them gives me chills each time I watch it.
I was literally just searching for reactions to this one and wondering why y’all haven’t done one yet haha perfect timing!

The Warning never disappoint. Great performance and reaction. 🔥🔥
first time they did it was at Guadalajara, 2 shows prior this one 🙏
This was simply epic, one of my favorite performances by them. The entire concert was fire!
These songs have never been better.
the transition between these two was one of my favorite moments, just electric

Great reaction, guys. Welcome back, Adrian! D2D sets it up, and Dull Knives absolutely knocks it out of the park. Masterfully done.🫠
Not enough words!
I love this combo and I would pay stupid money to see them perform Queen of the Murder Scene in its entirety again.

I was thinking about trying to make that one - that's probably the last time they'll play anywhere that small unless it's a surprise!

Definitely a lot of low B string on Ale's bass. Almost can't make out the note, feel it more than hear it.
'Dust to Dust' is in 'D' :) and 'Dull Knives' 'G' :)
Gee I hate to do this, but... Dust to Dust is in B, and Dull Knives is in E. Just checked both!
