You make the game look so easy, I can’t even tame a Rex after 100 days
Place a u of regular stone dino gates with a large bear trap in the middle. lead the rex in from the opening and when it gets stuck in the bear trap quikly place another stone dino gate behind it so it makes a box of 4 gates. keep a distance from the rex as it can still bite you. use dododex to check how many tranqs you need for the rex to go sleepy sleepy. tell me if this helped^^
What about a wyvern
@@shindex9143 u need something faster than a wyvern or turrets to kill wyverns

But be warned, all the wyverns in the scar will aggro on you so I recommend a fast flying creature like a griffin
@@shindex9143 Sneak in, have an oviraptor pick it up (they ignore this for some reason), take from oviraptor, sneak out. Profit.
Otters are the only tame (that I know of) that can carry artifacts and insulate you from the cold when they're on your shoulder. Great tame!
It insulates you so it protects you from the cold and heat
Ferox also do insulation, just like 100x better than the otter.. (yes you can have on shoulder when in baby form)
i think the reason the hesperornis takes tremendously more food than the otter is because of the golden egg

its really interesting how fast you can really tame everything. im glad i found this channel.
You can tame it all in 100 days, my day speed was ever so slightly increased to 1.2. Doesn’t leave time for anything else though, it’s quite a full on experience, hence the cave looking a complete mess at the end

😂I might have bad news for you on that part. As it wasn’t a permanent tame it wasn’t on my list (along with the liopleurodon)😅Perhaps I will include it in the bonus video which I speak about at the end! Sorry for the disappointment on that one!

I’m actually doing a similar challenge on my single player but a little tougher! My rules are…
1) I must tame a mate boosted pair of every tame(that lays eggs)
2) only acceptable levels are between 120-150
3) I can only tame the creatures with their MOST preferred food
4) I can only tame creatures in a certain kibble tier until all of those creatures that take said kibble have been tamed.(My progression goes- Basic > Simple > Regular > Superior > Extraordinary > Exceptional) I also have non-kibble tiers arranged based on difficulty and availability of that tame.(for example I have beginner tames like Pegomastax which prefer simple Mejoberries and then later game tamed like the Tusoteuthis with Black Pearls)
5) I have Ark Additions and No Untameables mods installed, which means even MORE things to tame than normal.
6) I must defeat all bosses on all difficulties before progressing to a new map.
I recently finished The Island and have started Scorched Earth a couple weeks back. The official maps have such awful level distribution, I’ve been stuck on simple kibble for quite some time!

If you kill a fish with the Ichthyornis’s Hunt and Retrieve feature, it gives a boost to the taming progress if the fish it killed is fed to an Otter or Hersperornis

U can use icthy to hunt and retrieve fish and it helps alot taming things like otters and hesperonis when it brings the fish back to you its like some kinda better fish idk

If you press attack this target on a dodo and then press r to throw your ichty from your shoulder the city kills the dodo and brings it to you and using a pike you get prime meat from the dodo

I had the idea a while back when the 100 days videos first started becoming a thing. Sadly I had a 1050 back then so the quality would not have been great. Upgraded to a 3070 since, so could finally start making videos :)

This is a pretty cool idea what if you do 100 days without any tames you don’t have to beat any bosses cause I think it would be impossible

So why I love this challenge and how you’ve successfully tamed almost every creature in game. Did the Titanosaur not work?
he limited himself to level 100 and up. titano only spawns at level 5, so seems he excluded it based on that

I think he chose not to do it because of his level stipulation, they spawn at a max level of 5. On another note i dont think he'd be able to solo tame one without RIDICULOUS levels of setup. They are a siege tame and do massive damage to structures.
The equus is indispensable for taming, you can use the saddle as a mortar and pestle to make narcotics out of the berries that the horse gathers for you, as well as use it's back kick to knock out prospective tames
Yeah ok man, try taming a giga with your condecorated equus, me and my chem bench are waiting to see.
I know you probably couldnt tame this in just 100 days but you didnt tame titanasaur anyways great video

I mindwiped off screen as I had way too many points in move speed during early game, and pumped weight instead :)
i could not imagine taming a giga solo. me and 2 of my tribe mates spent hours getting the narcotics and knocking out a giga on official. it was on the center lava island and we just surrounded it with our rexes hoping nothing and no one would kill it. i was the one tasked with feeding it the narcotics and wow that took SO long lol
At 20:24 u ended up having rare mushrooms in your inventory for the kangaroo so u didn’t have to end up going back and getting some lol

I loved the video but I have one question does Liopleurodon count and if so did you tame it off camera?
Liopleurodon can only be tamed for 30m
so i guess it doesn't quite count because it's not realy tamed

I don't know if anyone has already said, but regarding the Kairukus: the first one was a juvenile, those can't be tamed.
10:50 Yutyrannus can’t be picked up by anything his quetzal aren’t you forgetting some thing any thing oh and if that did not sting it can pickup a Gali and a mammoth and you hade one by the way
Otters are nice, Hesperornis are assholes. It's simple. Otters can even be picked up by an Argy with it's beak, making the taming process even more easy.
Should have used your Ichthyornis to get fish for the Hesperornis. The fish they hunt and retrieve are buffed.

I’m pretty sure the onyc’s in the castle counts as a *untameable cave creature* basically you can’t tame things that are above the max level *for ex* you can tame a Giga from mountains or spawned ones but they can’t be tamed in the tek cave :)
And also max level below still count as *over max level* and still can’t be tamed
What about the fish tho? :P Aberration Fish Baskets allow the taming of Sabertooth Salmon/Piranha/Coelacanth/Trilobite.

You tame Otters and Hesperonis with the Seagulls after you whistle them to attack a big fish.

They need to change tranq darts and arrows to have blueprints that cost more narcotics to increase torpor per shot.
In one update they made the kapro and galli immune to bolas and made it so they can’t be picked up at all by flyers
Now do it on genesis 2 >:3
one trick for mantis and athro is to put it in open water then it wouldn`t agro and u can tame it without ghilli and bug repellent
My first tame was a diplo had to wait till day 45 to get the saddle

if youre struggling to tame something as simple as a rex just bump your taming multiplier
Some people are weird about raising rates. Personally, I don’t understand how anyone can enjoy Ark with default rates. Right now I am only playing with a friend on our personal server that has max Dino level at 300 on Fjordur, which is very fun. Early game is rough, though. Everything has a *lot* of health and does a *lot* of damage. Because of that, it feels very rewarding once you tame them.
How do you get the stats of the creature up on the side of your screen?
I may have missed it - you said you got a lightning wyvern, but what about the ice, and poison?
On Dododex which was the site I used they just had ‘wyvern’ down as a separate entity, rather than all the different types! :)
