I heard that they had a railroad accident on this piece of track recently. Reason it attracted so much attention was that they played a famous PGA golf tournament (the US Open I think) there just adjacent to those tracks. Cool video for sure.
I'm surmising you have been looking for a reason to expand your horizons; therefore, vacationing around, in the wide open places, outside of your back yard, was the vehicle you had used for exploration within your region. A change of pace, if you will, to present yourself at other places besides Moses Lake, or Paine Field. That's okay, for that needed break, and the vistas of landscapes are gorgeous. Dipkanar Bhatka, has attempted to pick up the slack at Paine Field, in your absence. Sometimes I believe, he over exercises his know how, and makes it more complicated then it needs to be. That being stated, he did catch the return of one of B-747-8i, that was in storage at Victorville. The U.S. Air Force, purchase two of these, from a former cancelled order by bankrupted Transaero Air, of Russia. The U.S.A.F., must have purchased them at a significant discount or reduction, whereby they can be retrofitted and upgraded to the advance state of the art, for replacing the 1980 series era versions of the B-747-200 used for transporting the POTUS.
You've got it! I'm gone 3-4 nights a week at work so my weekends are more precious to me lately making sure I spend enough time with loved ones. I'd plane spot more often, but lately Boeing hasn't flown anything that really interest me into driving 70 miles up to the airport to capture on my days off. It's usually the same airline, just a different reg. I feel bad for slacking off on UA-cam, it's a hobby I really enjoy but things have really changed in the past 2 years when I switched jobs.
Nice video !

Just down the tracks a mile or two by the bridge. I can't remember, but I filmed this either a week before or after the incident.
Awesome video.
