One of the most requested remasters in the Metalheadz back catalogue is finally here - Hive's 'Krush'. Originally released in 2005 and now considered classic from that era of drum and bass, the track is a fusion of styles with a stunning melodic intro, expertly chopped breaks and multiple switch ups.

Words can't describe how happy I am that this got remastered and put on Spotify. This is the first drum and bass song I ever found on my own (off Myspace) and I still feel like it's the best dnb single ever released. It's pure perfection and still sounds fresh nearly 20 YEARS later
Very appropriately named tune as it still crushes
Forgot how sick Hive was for sec. Serious banger!
Been dropping this for ages. Gotta grab the remaster.
A true masterpiece!! Heard he was working on new material, can't wait to hear it
One of my favourite, my original vinyl still sounds proper
A true classic
Love the intro pads and the tune smashes!
One my all time favs
Cool💥have it on vinyl 😍
Vicious!
What a monster!
the best from the USA! big ups the one they call HIVE
fireee
This still destroys.
Always will.
The details and the bridges in this track are insane.
"Come Get Some" Ash Evil Dead sample.
banger
More pointless remasters.
Great, squash the track even more and destroy what little dynamics it had!
FFS, by the late 90's DnB was getting made in pro studios and getting professionally mastered. A remaster essentially means that you think the mastering engineer got it wrong the first time!
I'm even seeing 'remasters' of tracks written 10 years ago.
😂😂😂😂
Well, except for the fact that home studios can produce better quality sounds than a professional studio from 25 years ago. Hell, GarageBand on an iPhone can almost match professional studios from the 80s.
Well, from bright side, all these "Remasters" will be on spotify and finally i can experience these songs!
For real. Why not reissue the original and be done with it. No destroying the transients.
He runs his own mastering company now, I think it's had a lot of success. If he wanted a remaster I'm sure he is more than qualified to make that decision
