Your old songs such as this one sounded very alive, as if I can actually hear your story through this song. The reason I'm commenting in this specific song is because you've showed your potential here - the sounddesign, creativity, the percussions, the drop bass, the melodic genius behind this song, and ESPECIALLY the musical switch at 1:57, all of these make me feel sooo good when I listen to the song. You really are a talented artist Tobu, and I still look up to you a lot, but in this era you've really outdone yourself. I do and will always prefer your older stuff, because like I said earlier it doesn't have that bedroom producer sound. It's very unique. Exceptional. Indistinguishable. Precious. Something to be treasured. I'm not trying to sound fancy, these words are sincerely coming from my heart. Every single detail you used to put was well thought out (in my own opinion). Every single sample, every lead layer, bass layer etc, I've never heard anything like them before. This is why I loved your old music so much - every element screams the word "Tobu" as soon as I listen. You were just yourself. Please forgive/correct me if I'm wrong but these days you got influenced by other artists (I assume smaller artists) so much that they sort of changed your style. I understand if you get frustrated by this comment, I know you put just as much effort into your new music.
