Expository preaching is sooooo needed in the American church today. Preaching line by line from the Bible. In context. Not skipping around the Scriptures. Also, going through whole books of the Bible that aren't normally preached from. Most churches only preach from like 20% of the scriptures but 2 Timothy 3:16 says " _All_ Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching"....ALL!!! Also, folk don't skip around in any other books. So why we do the Bible like that? 🤔 We gotta get serious about God's Word! I did the bible in a year with friends and going through the whole Book will change your life!!! God is so good!!!

When we were unsaved we were basically children of the devil. He probably feels like that and proceeded to pray to God about his ways asking for God to straighten his ways.
That scripture in 1 John 2:19 is out of context, v18 refers to antichrists among us which I think separates it from this conversation. I also don't think we can say a person was never saved if they fall/walk away. The word says even the elect will be deceived, they may have not heeded Holy Spirit like they should have or loved their sin too much but may still come back to the Father as the prodigal did

I need you guys to dig deeper into the scriptures to find out what God says about these matters. When I say that I mean find more than one scripture that sounds like it applies to the topic at hand. Let's pray ask the Holy Spirit for help, start pulling multiple scriptures from the Bible, explain them in an order that viewers can understand, and bring it back to the surface level people can see the difference between a believer and disciple of Christ Jesus. The real question is if we can find these things in scripture how are they being used? Is it being used to give glory to God or to other gods?

Why are Christian men even having a conversation about worldly music
