I'm new to the game and I really didn't think I could do this one but I got very lucky, Banshee caught on Para-mic, heard a Poltergeist during a hunt throwing everything around and had a wraith avoiding salt.
That's not really "lucky", you're just good at the game.
@@Quasindro I wouldn't say that I'm good, I've just watched a ton of Insym videos about it. Also caught a Mare with the light switch and a Mimic with Orbs on no evidence. A Moroi though caught me unfortunately.
I agree with the not really lucky comment: give yourself some credit for paying attention and trying to learn, but also trying to apply it. (even if it's just for a video game)
Besides, even if you make mistakes, you can learn from them and adapt. Even though this sounds like I'm patronizing being that this is the internet--good job with using what you've learned to do something you didn't think you could do.
@@ryanc9876 They were easy ghosts to work out, some of the others would have been too hard and I wouldn't have got them.
@@krs4395 but even a veteran player would struggle with those certain ghosts due to the nature of those ghosts. If anyone had a goryo, they'd be very difficult to weed out. So while yeah, you didn't have bad luck, it wasn't like you were just guessing wildly.
Woah, the new lighting update is actually really incredible! The update with it working around how your eyes would normally acclimate to being in the dark for so long is awesome. It actually looks so natural! Gotta love the work and effort that all the Phasmo devs put in
31:43 IF The Mimic actually changes age when turning into a Thaye, then seeing the age become YOUNGER on the board would be hard evidence for a Mimic since it'd be the only ghost who could do that. That would happen when an old Mimic starts mimicking a younger Thaye or when a young Mimic stops mimicking an older Thaye.
when i did this challenge i hid in the back of the hallway behind the little shoe cupboard whenever i could. it's only like 70% safe on a good day, but i can watch the ghost hunt without having to worry about looping. i saw an obake shapeshift that way
I truly think that if I watch enough of your videos and then try to play phasmophobia I'll be a professional right away

Thanks for the video as always. I got a shade very slowly, then a mimic tricked my into demon by hunting exactly at 70%, orbs are so tiny on tier 1 camera and a steam deck. Next day I got another shade (I think), followed by a mimic which I caught, it was hunting like it was a mare in the light or a shade then was suddenly super slow (revenant?) At which point I double checked and found the tiniest orbs. Really enjoying the game again with the lighting fix.
1. round asking the board, where the ghost is! looking for orbs in the room... mimic
2. round repeat and again mimic...
3. round repeat no orbs, started cursed hunt... revenant... easiest no evidence run of my life.
28:29 Those might be the strongest, but I think Myling and The Mimic are the scariest. Both have such a capacity to make you believe you are safe, then suddenly you are dead before you knew what happened; Myling by being quiet until it's too late, and The Mimic by making you believe it's one ghost then suddenly it's doing deadlier stuff, like sprinting as a Rev or finding your in your hiding spot as a Deo.
Well they're only scary because they can catch you by surprise. When you find out you have them, they're not really a threat. Thaye or Moroi tho, you get them and you're like "fuck"
@@denxx56 I think that applies to all ghosts, where once you know how they work and which one you have, it's not as scary. Even Thaye and Moroi, once you know you have either, you know what to do to deal with them without much issue, unless you don't have that items to deal with them, that is.
@@sharingheart13 some ghosts are objectively harder to deal with, and if you don't have the right items, even more so. Surviving a Thaye is much harder if you are in hunting range and have no more pills than it is Myling
I got 2 Yureis and a Goryo, haha. The first Yurei slammed like 3 doors which is so rare! Easiest Yurei of my life

@@denxx56 Unluckiest ghosts, luckiest Yurei. It was fun anyway since I enjoy no evidence a lot and was playing with others in public lobbies

banshee as you mentioned with the banshee scream
the myling as you mentioned with the increased whispering / chatter
and the moroi (spirit box response / failsafe & parabolic mic whisper ) which can curse you and you drain sanity faster
My runs have been interesting. I did 3 alone, and 3 with friends. My first one I had a thaye, which wasn't aged much. Didn't think to check age with ouija (probably broke it for an early hunt) and it being fast with no other real reasons to be, I got it pretty easily. Second one I got demon hunted within 2 minutes. Third I had a Hantu who kept touching the breaker (like 6 times) and I got tired of it not wanting to hunt after the forced one.
Friend runs, we also ran into a very early demon hunt. That was an easy one, and somehow, despite with being with two newbies, we all survived. I think the ghost room was the foyer and I saw the door close...thinking event or yurei...until I got closer and heard the ghost sounds. Second run, we had a deo which I forced hunt with ye ol hide and seek not wanting to wait forever as it's harder to sanity control with MP. And lastly we got a hantu. I went afk to help with something and came back to 2 dead people... Not sure what happened, I decided to wait for a hunt and it seemed fast and then slow when it followed me down stairs. It also didn't speed up. It also hit the breaker a lot, but it blew out a light. My friend thought it was a mare. The breaker made me think hantu...and then I decided to do a breaker off hunt with the other surviving player to let them see the hantu breath. They saw it, but they decided they were pro and died trying to loop it after I smudged and peaced out.
Was fun, and gave some teaching for the new players.
Did this challenge as my first attempt at no evidence runs, got like 3 of the easiest ghosts to guess with no evidence when playing with a friend, Banshee, Wraith, and Demon
Man i had such easy but INSANE runs.
First run = walk in, go upstairs, 2 instant polter-ability´s back-to-back!
Second run = walk in, go upstairs, instant polter-ability
Third run = triggered hunt immediatly, hear slow twin.

@@AwesomeGeek it´s an ability of the poltergeist where it throws like 10 items at the same time through the whole room. We also call it the ´polter-explosion´. It´s actually pretty rare, so getting 2 back-to-back and another one in the next game like right at the start of a mission is super rare.
I attempted this Challenge Mode with some friends today and mind you - we‘re all like lvl 35ish and never tried no evidence before. Granted we struggled a little bit since the only obvious ghost was a polti who used his ability 3 minutes into the game. But we did it - so damn proud X3 I feel like I learned a lot by watching your videos so thanks for that ^^

I got two Moroi in a row for both I did a Banshee test and after I returned to the truck my sanity was gone. Third one was a Shade that almost made me fall asleep
I once saw a Yurei use its ability while I was outside the map

Could you do a stream where you only speak dutch?
Every ghost can touch the door and only Yurei can close the MAIN door without event, every ghost except Yurei need Ghost event to close doors immediately.

Saw my first polter explosion, two times ( though the first time it only threw one item but caused unusual sanity drain).
This just in, they will be making the Tier 1 thermometer more inaccurate so that the tier 2 and 3 feel better than the tier 1. They will also make improvements on the tier 2 and 3 thermometers, but this will render the tier 1 thermometer maybe useless. Guess we'll have to see in the future.

Second was Onryo with firefights
Third was a phantom TPing(got a random EMF ticking) to us and then hunted at the front door (Ghost room was 2nd floor bathroom)
For the first ghost, they changed models not during a hunt but in between hunts, from standing ghost, to backwards ghost and floor ghost. I thought this was something only an Obake could do? Or does Obake only change models DURING a hunt?
Obakes change during a hunt. What you're probably referring is the broken back and crawling 'mode' which is something some models will do no matter the ghost!

I’m pretty new to the game so I can only test for about half the ghost but got wraith twice in like 5 games 😭
I've dubbed this house the Demon House because everytime I play on this house I always seem to get a demon. Not to mention Insym got the Demon achievement on this house.
The update with the eye adaptation thing is so cool !!!! And this challenge is also cool but stressful

Mimic on no-evidence challenge will always produce fake orbs. So if you see orbs, you know it's a mimic. No orbs means no mimic. And if the ghost throws the notebook, you can rule out ghost writing evidence.
I love doing no evidence runs but this weekly for me was just bugged… I tried like 10 times but the Ouija Board never worked and instantly broke every time + the ghost spawned in the Utility Room (where the Ouija is) every time + the behavior was never the right one. For example I had a wraith doing a Banshee Scream, a Thaye that was super slow first hunt, a Revenant that didn’t speed up and some more stupid shit. I did the challenge correctly twice in 2 tries on Monday I think, but after the lighting update, everything started going stupid
When you say the Banshee came to you, do you mean it walked to or teleported? And after the ghost event is over, does it walk back from the ghost event spot to its ghost room, or does it teleport back?

I got two ghosts wrong, and got two Yureis. This challenge took me almost 3 hours, Blech.

for me it was demon demon hantu mare (who turned off the switch as soon as i stepped in and switched that on lol 10sec investigation). so yeah all was easy af
The challenge mode is fine, but i think it would be better if you could get more money from that bcs it was pretty hard
I didn't not have a good time with this challenge. Some ghost abilities like Obake and Hantu don't seem to be working properly for me and my friends. We often got Moroi and Onryo too ~_~
Yesterday we had the twins in one round. My friend smudged the ghost at the end of the hunt, I put a timer up from that moment on and the ghost hunted again after just 30 seconds. Is this a thing for twins? Like, if you smudge it the decoy is not affected e.g.?
No, your friend simply missed the smudge. When the ghost ends a hunt, it teleports back to it's ghost room. So by the time your friend smudged at the end of the hunt, it was already gone. If a ghost was properly smudged, it takes at least 1 minute and 30 seconds before it can hunt again except the Spirit (3 minutes) or Demon (1 minute).

Legit figured out this was a *no evidence* run about 4-5 tries in. Still figured out the first ghost somehow.

Yesterday I was doing this challenge with a couple friends, I had a shade doing a TON of interactions and Im pretty sure hunted me on a perfect 35 average, so I went for Mare, a mimic which didnt spawned ghost orbs but made an interaction which drained one of my buddies sanity by 25 so I went with Oni, and coup de grace 25 minutes on a Jinn which NEVER did its draining ability, a friend of mine was on the breaker with an EMF for 15 of those 25 mins didnt do it ONCE...so... SADGE
I got reset to level 1 today and lost all my shit and money. Is this normal.
did this challenge with my girlfriend, normally we do 2 evidence but we went into this and completed it with no preparation
