In 1858, gold was discovered in Colorado. When the news reached the East, a gold rush followed, disrupting the balance of the territory and leading to the disappearance of bison herds and Native American tribes. Today, from Denver to the Rocky Mountains, through the four national parks to the Western desert, the state has plenty to amaze outdoor sports enthusiasts. However, climate change and prolonged periods of drought have dramatically impacted Colorado's natural resources, including its eponymous river. Sabine Quindou embarks on a journey to explore the "Centennial State" and meets people who are taking action to preserve their homeland.
