- Having a character die in Genshin Impact is usually just a minor inconvenience. You just use one of your eggs on them and then they're back. But what if that wasn't the case? What if when a character dies, they can never be used again? Because I'm dumb, I'll do it.
Rules:
If a character falls in battle, they are considered dead and can’t be used anymore for anything.
No healing items in battle.
No fighting in co-op.
Shield characters are banned.

Plunge attacks:
Shield characters should be fair Play because protect is a thing
Yeah but Protect lasts 1 turn and you cant do anything during it so ehh
Maybe you can't do anything while defended except moving? Basically only used to block super powerful attacks and restore stamina, but nothing else?
@@iluvchess14736 Protect is a pretty useful move for nuzlockes, scouting enemy AI moves, stalling PP/Toxic Stalling, getting potential Leftovers recovery and more.
i think its mostly because of how mich harder it is to die in genshin than lose a pokemon in a nuzlocke

Challenge idea: you can only use the corresponding element for each region’s archon quest (anemo only for mondstadt, geo only for Liyue, etc.)
That seems like a hard thing to do when you're just starting but I might try it when Natlan comes out, I would be interesting for me as someone who doesn't have any well built Pyros :0
I think I should specify that the traveler can act as a lifeline for a given element if you have bad luck from summons
Or like only using the corresponding characters from each region during the archon quests

Mainly because it's only half true. The first Ascension passive requires it (the one that activates from overloaded reactions) but the second one (which increases electro and Pyro damage) doesn't. It works in any team. Granted without full electro-Pyro team you lose a lot of value but you still gain the damage bonus.

With Sucrose being my favorite character and Candace being probably my second, this appeased me. Wish Candace wasn't screwed over by Mihoyo so hard.

Yep, actually my go-to-Dvalin team is Amber, Xiangling, Lisa and Kuki. Amber helps to break his shield faster, and then these 6-star characters will one-cycle the dragon no problem.
This is so hype. Genshin sounds perfect for a Nuzlocke and you always use really intriguing teams.

Ok Id give Candace a pass cause personally I found it more of a counter atk like beido instead of a sheild cause granted they do ignore DMG but only to the max of what they can withstand
As a pokefan, I can say there was 2 things similar to most nuzlokes.
1. He got Raiden = getting Gyarados. Gyarados is really op in most of the games, and you are either almost guaranteed to get him, or it is a 50/50 if you don't use species clause. Which is almost what happened with Raiden, though you did had only 1 chance instead of multiple in some games.
2. Losing Sucrose to gravity = losing a great mon to random self-destructing Graveler or Destiny Bond/Counter/Mirror Coat Wobuffet. Self Destruct is a pretty strong move and can lead to some oneshots. While Destiny Bond allows the mon who used it, if he was faster, take life of your mon after it died this turn, while Counter or Mirror Coat reflects your damage to your mon, Counter for physical moves, Mirror Coat for special. And Wobuffet will almost always use only these moves, cuz those moves are all it has. Though Wobuffet is not common.... Like at all. But in randomizer nuzlokes, you shall never underestimate them. Or else you might lose accidentally the one you love most. Just like what happened here. Unexpected gravity was kinda like looking away for a sec and not seeing Wobuffet.

If you haven't already you should do a 1 character challenge where every time you wish (and get a new character) you have to replace the current one and use the new one. I think that's a bit too complicated though
I came to conclusion the best characters to get early game are Sucrose, Heizo or Faruzan - basically, any no-down-time anemo user. Sucrose and Faruzan really want their C1 to function properly, but they both have great crowd control abilities and will be useful in late game as well. Heizo on the other hand will be really OP at the beginning, but since he is more DPS than support, he will be upstaged eventually.
Glad to see Xinyan get some love, she was my first main for a solid year and seriously did some great work. Im not playing much these days, but maybe i shoild try and use her as a main again.
12:11 as someone who mained overload early game, this is embarassingly true. Aside from that overload shreds the overworld mobs, cuz grass
you can use shild characters, unless you decide to play hardcore nuzlock rules,but then you wouldn't be able to use healing itens. since only hardcore nuzlock (sometimes) banned op things (mostly set up moves like bulk up or calm mind)
Fellow Sucrose appreciator 👌🏻damn this ALMOST was full Sucrose showcase then she fell right before last region and I just realized you basically did female only challenge which happened to me for first two arcs until i pulled Zhongli on his rerun.

I can't wait for Xingqui only. He has been with me from the start and is the only 4 star that has been with me from the start that is regularly the only 4 star on my team. I just love using him. I also remember that in early game I used him as my healer and didn't use a proper healer until Shinobu. I mean it worked.
Btw killer kokomi if your stuck at the elezar hospital you can activate the pillars with dendrogana just a tip for your journey :)
When I was early ar rank the first character I got besides the starting ones was kirara, she became my main and hearing “kiraras one of my least favorite characters” hurts…. I even still use kirara on my team-

Kirara -> Sheild, not your favourite AND an inazuman characters. Inazuman characters are the worst to get early game, as you cant use them for the hard content till you unlock inazuma. Not to mention, if that character or a character that uses the same mats is not on banner aka trials, then you cant even level them up past 20. And for a nuzlocke challenge like this, you dont wanna face childe with a level 20 character lmao.
Dori is actually pretty good. She has energy recharge and has good electro application. She also heals a little but. Y’all just don’t like her personality. That’s fine though. He might not like Kirara because he doesn’t like her, her personality, or her playstyle
@Beck_L ive always really liked dori, but I've acknowledged how she's really nothing special in battle especially compared to other electro appliers like kuki, and I've come around to kirara (watch my kirara only vid)
Can’t you add a rule that your level has to be below the maximum.
Also allow shield characters.
Now you have to touch a grass for an hour mwaaahhahahahahah 😅 only one of your characters died hmmmmm I have an idea how about you make a version 2 of this challenge you keep all your stuff but you can't use the statue of the 7 or use healing characters or shielding characters the only healing item you can use is food

After watching SAO (Sword Art Online), I started playing Genshin Impact being extremely cautious to my HP the first couple Adventure Ranks,… then I understood, it‘s not SAO amd my character won‘t die

im doing a nuzlocke but i added an extra rule cause i hate myself:
You cannot use recommended elements in a domain
(also i am not banning shield characters cause im not good)
In nuzlocks usually you can only get one Pokémon per route.
So i think that to make THIS More interesting could be good if you could only get one character per Archon chapter.
