Homeboy's Hemi - Keg shod.. (Single Footing Filly) 3 years old

This was Hemi 1st year in the ring and on the straighway, She was little slow building confidence but starting coming with it this fall. She placed in the top 5 at the Fall Brawl out of 23 horses in the 3 & 4 year old single footing class (straightaway event) judged on gait and speed . Hemi is the daughter to late GT Homeboy who by Rev Homer. Full Standardbred top and bottom, Big filly with a Big engine !! Excited for 2019 season.......

I enjoy watching T-breds, race, qtr horses race. To see a flat shot TWH hit a big lick (not today's big Lick) as Midnight Sun would do brings out a grin. I had the opportunity to ride a man's Paso Fino stallion. I'm no horseman, not even pretending, but I moved the boy out and then collected, Oh my! Then I saw the fence was coming at me and I yelled, a little late, "Neck reined!?" The owner shouted for me to look in direction I wanted go. I did. Horse's feet moving 110 mph and we turned on a dime, no, on 50 cents at 5 mph and I was headed back toward my friends. The owner's wife was laughing and hollered out, " Everybody get's that same shit eating grin when they ride this horse!" What a blast! But when I see a decently fast speed racking horse or mule I think i would be running fence just outside of the Pearly Gates to ride a beast like that!
