gary hoover I disagree, he overplayed way too much. In the 80’s they grooved much more. The trend of overplaying is a recent product of 2010’s. He’s playing exactly like modern times

how did you or what do you use to mic and get that sound recorded?
It is really good but I notice your other songs have the same drum fill over and over too. And for this song.. it is too fast.. the meter of the song is heavy and a slow kind of drive . Those drums fills don't seem to blend but a double bass triplet style fill or just more in line with the song foundation would be great.

Could have been more like original. I'm not really into that whole "make it your own" thing. Not really a cover when you add or remove parts. I prefer to see it done the way it was done. Killer skills.
