My grandparents came from the kashmir valley but settled in lahore and spoke koshur, these people from azad kashmir...do not even look kashmiri yet they always like to claim they are. they dont realise they are ethnically different and its very obvious they are practically punjabis.

I am a third generation Pakistani born Kashmiri whose father was born in Srinagar and migrated when he was really young. And although my mom born in ajk can speak kosher my father cant. There are many kashmiri migrants living in ajk although i agree that ajk culture is more like punjabi your argument considering ajk people wannabees is wrong.
Yes it is a dardic language, Cuz hindus of kashmir arent the same as the hindus of mainland india, therefore they also speak it. The scripts are different, the hindus write kashmiri in the devanagri script whereas muslims write it in the perso-script.
