I live and die for KRISTINA TSUNAMI! I love her mental and emotional freedom; and her candor. She is so honest and open. She speaks about the realities of the transgendered life in the late 1980s! My eyes were opened to the world of 14th Street, 42nd Street, and the CHRISTOPHER STREET PIER action when I hit the scene in 1992! I so appreciate KRISTINA sharing this way without restraint. I love and respect her tremendously. Peace and love...
OMG YOU ARE THE TRUE ESSENCE OF WHAT IT IS TO BE TRANSGENDER ... YOU KEPT IT REAL ... YOU PRODUCED FACTS... AND YOU TOLD WHAT BALLROOM WAS ALL ABOUT .... ... AND TOLD IT LIKE IT IS ... I HAVE TO SAY OF ALL THE LUNA SHOWS .. THIS ONE IS THE THAT RANKS THE MOST HIGH ..
Kristina it's great to see you here on Luna's video. I have to agree with the fact that there is no sense of community anymore. It seems that we've paved the way and made things so easy for the new generation. No one looks up to older gay role models they way they used to when we were growing up. We used to seek guidance and were opening to learning and hearing the knowledge and experience that was being offered to us. Love you Kristina and big hugs and kisses Luna J. J. (Infiniti)
Luna, Luna, Luna! I am so loving this interview. Gracias pai. Love, Love, Love Miss Kristina. Very raw and honest interview. Well done. Omar La'Beija (PanamaOmar)
first I did not know she is a latina I thought she was black...But im so glad i saw this you dont really know a person unless youve heard their story. Iconic Kristina u betta write a book girl cuz u told that story
Running away is not the answer as a child; that is all I hear from these people. These individuals were indeed immature at the time, but felt the need to share these stories of running away; so all these others feel thats the answer as well. "I despise it." The large majority glorify prostitution, running the streets, and playing dress up. Everyone has a story in the homosexual community, but these are really sad....and not just homosexuals..we all go through challenges and these are not the answer. I really love some of the talent, but this scene is a form of a cult that for some odd reason is glorified by most. There is a time and place for everything, and with growth comes challenges. Face them and don't continue to run to easy street. Keep on dancing!
kristina is such a gem.
