UKRAINE WAR: Tough Demands! Zelensky's "Victory Plan" Unrealistic, Says Ex-General Kather!
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented details of his plan to end the war with Russia in parliament on Wednesday. The president told lawmakers that his plan could bring peace as early as next year. However, it includes a condition that some key Western allies have not yet supported: inviting Ukraine to join NATO before the war ends.
"If we start acting on this victory plan now, it might be possible to end the war by next year," Zelensky said. He has been seeking support from Western partners during his recent European tour, but so far, no public endorsements have been made.
The plan, which encompasses military, political, diplomatic, and economic elements, is seen by many as Ukraine's last chance to strengthen its position in future ceasefire negotiations with Russia. Zelensky is eager to implement his plan before a new U.S. president is inaugurated next year.
