In the music biz they talk about putting in the 10,000 hours before you are ready. This number was an estimated time that the Beatles put in before they hit it big. But it is a formula that many from that era agree with as the time it takes to hone your craft. Morissette has certainly put in her 10,000 hours and it certainly shows. She has learned her craft and performs at the highest levels possible. Morissette still hasn't reached her peak as an artist....we will all be fortunate to see where this generational artist takes us!!!

She did say in a interview she had with 2 reactors BOBS & DOE that she never had a plan B because all she focused on was her music career, a woman of great resilience, integrity and strong character, look at her now, shes worked her socks off to get where she is today and its not likely to stop anytime soon, she has brand new music coming out at the end of June, she has a big concert coming up on the 7th of july with husband DAVE introducing her new music to a live audience, looking forward to this immensely 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.
I guess, one of the moral lessons there was for parents to realize that their kids isn't their property... their kids should be loved, supported, and cared for along the way through the process of achieving their dream and not the sole dream of the parents... specially when parents appears to be using their children as an income generating device at the expense of their children's happiness, character growth and mental health... in short... Your child is your responsibility but not your possession.

Hey Banana.... Yes that LISTEN cover, is special indeed, and I seem to recall....it was TV5 Star Factor, Dave and Mori first crossed paths...and she did covers with him and Micah ( his lil brother) which you can find on his YT channel , but then were both on Sarah G's team on The Voice, and that's the main starting point of their friendship and onto love. Happy 30th 🥂🥂

Have watched this video a few times now and the early videos are from her father Amay Amon, there are more out there but the title escapes me, the part where Mori leaves the consert in tears was just before going on stage tore my heart out, she loves her father so much and him doing that to his then 22 year old daughter was not right, her family still lives in the house that Mori had built for them, anyway getting emotional just love Mori, thanks for your reaction great as always and BANANAS 😊

Thank you for doing this guys! I can only share my own experience. This too is a journey (personally) how I came to follow Morissette daily for almost 5 years now. I was introduced to her by my brother who has followed her for years. He claimed she's the best singer. I said sorry bro, I've pretty much seen the great ones. Then I heard her cover Rise Up. That was the beginning. I spent 16 hour days listening to her, I had her songs for my car stereo. I heard Di Mapaliwanag. I pulled over the side of the road and played it again. I said to myself, how does a singer sing this way?? How do you cover her songs? Then I heared Naririnig Mo Ba. That sealed it for me. No way a singer can sing it the way she did with all that emotion. I saw her cover of Listen when she was 12, then that clip with Misalucha telling her path to stardom. I've never cried so much in my life. The rest as they say is history.

@@TouchyReactions there's really so many of us who became Morissette fans who has similar stories. I chatted few years ago with 3 other people from different places. What we had in common is that we listen to rock and some heavy metal. I've seen concerts of the legendary singers here in the US. Now, we all listen to Morissette. Its hard to explain. I flew to San Fran to see her the first time. I came in early for the Meet & Greet. She was practically sleeping in the van because she just arrived a few hours the night before. The night of the concert she squeezed our hands at close to 2am for autograph. That who she is!
She’s inspirational and a great talent. Persistence made her through the rain and succeeded. No wonder many of us supported and love her. ❤❤❤Thanks for reacting guys, please do the 2017 Asia’s song festival, it’s amazing. ❤❤❤

Morissette had plenty of videos on her father's YT channel of her singing when she was a child but already a living star😅❤ Yup, as what Morissette said in the wedding, she met Dave in TV5 back in 2011 which was before "The Voice🎤 Philippines 🇵🇭". Throughout the years, she have joined many singing competitions but never won any but doesnt mean she will just give up. She has friends, family, and fans who loves her which motivates her more and care for all of us❤ She had been through a lot of problems/challenges that burning her to ashes. But we all knew as what see and hear in the present day, Morissette is still a rising star not just in the Philippines 🇵🇭, but around the world! It just proves that she is a Phoenix who rises from ashes! And that's an inspiration to many people! Despite all the consequences, and all the hates she earn. She still love, respect, and care for everyone. She is humble and kind who lets anyone have a smile. She even wrote a song (Love You Still 🌊) which is a letter to someone she loves. Thats a true artist right there! 🥰👍
Win or lose, rise or fall, Morissette always want to be better than before. Learn from mistakes, and set her loved ones at her side❤

For those who didn't know, June 2nd is Mori's birthday, and that will be next week. 🎂
I think she will be celebrating her birthday with a concert in the USA together with the "Philippines' Concert King" Martin Nievera. As a post-birthday celebration, if I'm not mistaken, she will be attending the Bruno Mars' concert in the Philippine Arena on June 25th.
Morissette's story is an inspiring one. Coming from humble beginnings, she had to work hard, joining singing competitions at an early age, having to experience defeats at that tender age, yet her passion for singing and music prevailed, she did not give up, despite some health issues, and even family issues later. We are thankful to her for not giving up on her dreams and pursued them amidst the challenges. We are also thankful to all those who supported and encouraged her, from her family, Dave, Christian Bautista, Sarah Geronimo, Regine Velasquez, and many more others.
We also would like to thank people like you, Ryan and Cindy, and all the vocal coaches, artists and reactors, for always featuring her on your channels, to express your admiration, appreciation, love and support, and to help spread awareness on people all over, about this amazing vocalist and artist, who we consider as among the bests and the greats in this generation. 🥰 #banana 🍌😉

The same thing happened to KZ when a polyp was surgically removed from her vocal chord except that she lost her ability to hit high notes whereas Morisette has recovered 100% but given KZ's condition, she developed an artistic creativity like no other so as the saying goes, if God closes a door on you he opens a window.
