I was thinking that Jimmy Baxter’s still being alive at the end leaves open the possibility of a season 3. I’d love to see a season 3, but it has to be a lot better than season 2, which I don’t think was as good as season 1.
Wow, Mark Margolis (a Darren Aronofsky protege) is playing Conti…Every time Bryan Cranston does a series, legends show up, and newbies become breakout stars…
If Hope Davis doesn't get an Emmy nomination, then there is no justice in the world. She is like Medea, Electra, Lady Macbeth and the Erinyes all rolled into one.
I think it had been a loveless marriage for a long time, and also didn't respect him because she perceived him as weak and unwilling to build his criminal empire, thinking she could do it better and that he lacked backbone. Having come from a pronounced crime family herself, Jimmy never stood up to her making him "safe" to disrespect, almost becoming habitual. It's almost like a teen who yells at their parents because they've learned that is "safe" to do that because the parents will love them anyways. It's easy to slide into becoming the abusive one in a relationship if there is no pushback or hint of consequences. This is evident just in how she constantly blames Jimmy even for things that aren't his fault, like buying Rocco the motorbike. She offloads all of her frusteration, guilt, and blame onto him. But ultimately, her motivation in that movement was just to trying to hurt him.
He confessed to everything stemming from his actions shielding Adam to the law: Acting as an accomplice, destroying evidence, lying to cops, filing a false police report having organized the theft of the car. He also did admit to tampering with Carlo Baxter's trial to skew the result. Michael Desiato wasn't *charged* for the last crime of fixing Carlo's trial, because a federal investigator wanted to use Michael against the Baxter family like a mole, but both federal and local police knew about the crime. When the homicide cop was discussing that Michael deserved to be jail but the Fed was blocking those charges, she suggested they could charge him with tax fraud instead for all she cared. She just didn't want to compromise her use of Michael, or compromise her investigation into the Baxters. I don't believe they ever explicitly spelled out what they charged him with, but I assume it was for his earlier real crimes related to the coverup since there wouldn't have been a conflict for the investigation if they disclosed them, Michael lost his license to practice law (which is consistent with violating rules of evidence and tampering with police investigations), and certain people knew some extent of what he actually did (like Adam's grandmother).
I gotta say, even though I disagree with the gay agenda, they also had two prominent female roles in this movie, one being Gina, and the other big Mo. A male could not fit these roles, as they fit quite nicely. There had to be a reason Big Mo wanted that club so bad. The girl could have played as her daughter instead, I think, to do as a favor for her because she brought her into the drug world without a choice, But that narrative was already chosen for the Baxter family. There needed to be a different narrative for Big Mo, So they chose a lover, but that lover couldn't be a male because then they couldn't do the whole point the gun on accident thing dramatic enough. It just wouldn't work with a male. Anyway, think what you wish. I don't care either way lol.
You'd be surprised. Prisoners are highly vulnerable and exploitable, especially inside for-profit prisons. For example, Angola Prison Rodeo was a real thing pitting prisoners against bulls in an arena drawing spectators. It only recently got suspended in 2020 due to covid, not thanks to any moral checks and balances or state legislation.
@@jacobkdunni don’t know if that’s what OP meant, but I think they referring to how unrealistic it looked when Michael got charged by the bull lol, like stunt work/VFX wise, I thought so too
Gina’s character is not a badazz at all she a winy little punk and She is cry baby when I think of a baddazzMother figure I think Gema from Sons of Anarchy!! Now that’s a bad azz !!😊
we need a season 3
You'll get it. They can't stop now.
@@judychang8760 nope. The show ended at season 2

Interesting they called it the SEASON finale instead of the SERIES finale.......
Jimmy is going to join desire. I can't wait. Jk. Maybe we have more breaking bad\better call Saul actors haha.
Well, remember this is based off of an Israeli multiple seasons tv show... So there's waaay more to the story than what they did in your honor...😊
I HAVE CRUSH ON HOPE DAVIS EVEN THOUGH I'M IN my late 20's SHE SO GORGEOUS!
Big Mo was amazing in that show!
The one whole played big mo was my favorite on the show ❤
We want Season 3 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Everyone. Every. One. Is sooooo good
It was absolutely magnificent although I wish season 3 would happen they wrapped it up pretty well. No spoilers.

I've loved Mark ever since I saw him in Scarface 40 years ago. He could steal a scene just by standing still.
He always breaks bad.
Bryan and Mr. Margolis have explosive chemistry together.
Love this show, was amazing acting. Great storyline
I wish Season 3 could be made, I'd jump around my street with glee if it was.
I would love a 3rd season
I want season 3)))
How come Hope Davis is still acting like “Gina” during this interview 🤔😂
She plays her part so expertly...the quintessential ice queen.
She's probably a method actor
Gina Baxter is a gorgeous woman.
Your type is your type.

SEASON 3..SEASON 3 SEASON 3..
Yes please!

Gina Baxter would scare the Roys on Succession more than Sandi.
i have a question why gina said to jimmy there is no chance that i could love you again in the final episode ? i mean what is the reason behind that ?

Bruh gina was caked up the whole 2 seasons 😮💨
I've been a fan since day one we need a 3ed season
My God I’m not sure who I hate more Gina or homelander 😂
I thought gina was the one lady in the show friends
Hey, what was Michael Desiato in jail for? They didn't know about how he fixed the trial for Carlo Baxter, so I know he wasn't in prison for that.

Ahh
They had to add the gay agenda that doesn't fit anywhere in the storyline of course.
Cry harder.

I say the same. I skip ALL of those scenes. Very uneccessary and add nothing to the storyline.
