- Inspired by the creativity and productivity produced by incredible people alongside their full-time jobs, Dave Jarman made it his side-project to document other people’s side-projects and explain why you should start one today. Dave Jarman is a Teaching Fellow in Entrepreneurship at the University of Bristol, a former University Head of Careers at Bath Spa University, a Town Councillor in Corsham, a freelancer, a husband, and a dad. Fascinated by creativity, new ideas, and how to make those ideas happen, Dave has been exploring how side projects can be a vehicle for us all to change our own rules about who we are and who we might become. My current work contract comes to a close in August, and I've turned down more work in order to work on my side project full time and try to make a business out of it.
I've been saving my money. Hopefully my wife will let me spend a chunk of money to get the business going while she goes to work to earn it. ;-)
