- These are definitely unavoidable signs that it's time to start your own business in the Netherlands. If you're curious about starting your own business in the Netherlands - I'm sharing with you some subtle (and not so subtle) hints that you're meant for something more than just being an employee in the Netherlands.
I've been running my own business based in the Netherlands since January 2020. In the beginning I still had a part time job in digital marketing but since the start of 2021 I'm a full time business owner. During the first 6 months of this year, I've earned more than I ever did working 40+ hrs/ week as a full time (and burnt out) architect. I'm a UA-cam digital creator, digital strategist focusing on video marketing as well as a business coach for the new wave of online entrepreneurs.

I have all these I even started doing real estate as a side hustle but now I am even having the same feelings with it.

@@MakingitinHolland I would like to try a whole new direction but not sure what direction. I feel bad about doing it since I’ve spent so much doing real estate.
I can say I went through all that almost my entire history as an employee (except for the first week or two, before the novelty of getting a job wore off LOL). 🤦🏻♂️
To me all that hell was the reason we get paid when we get a job. Sadly I got way too sick and I was kicked out (I had a convulsive issue due to stress and they didn't want me to have an accident at work and sue them later).

I’m sorry to hear about your less than ideal experience. I must admit even though I was fortune enough to quit corporate and start my own thing, it was still a huge emotional roller coaster. It still has its ups and downs but I wouldn’t change it for something else.
@@MakingitinHolland My experience is that it just sucks to be poor. We have to do work we don't want, use low quality products and services and live in crappy places anywhere in the world.
Oh, and we're privileged in comparison with the majority of the entire world's population. 😢
