Heyyy do you happen to be related to Azalea Wiggins/Bodden? That’s my grandma. We’re coming down there from American in about two weeks and staying for the entire month of July
Roatan is famous for its amazing offshore reefs and perfectly suited for both new and advanced divers. It's a well-known destination for coral gardens, shipwrecks such as the Odyssey and Aguila, sharks and all sorts of fish, but it's also famous for encountering the largest fish in the sea: the majestic whale sharks
yo the best videos you don't glorified yourself like many vloggers with own selfies . you have the cam always showing the places and people .nice man your Spanish is perfect GOD BLESS YOU MAN
There is no rule ... So what if the vlogger is part of the scene or video? Hardly glorification, more like being connected to what is being produced. ONE LOVE !
Everybody got a perspective to show. Talking to the camera creates more interactivity with the viewer. But sometimes it's too much for sure, it's about balance really.
Oooooh man!!! I am SO glad you stopped and spoke with Douglas (4:50) at the Tijuana Style taco place!!! His food is delicious! Everything is fresh and the tortillas are even made to order. Make sure you ask for his special sauce. A little goes a long way because it's spicy but totally worth it. The Melon (watermelon) juice is good too.
You chose the right destination. I am so proud to be Honduran and this is one of the Honduran gems. Also mainland Honduras is beautiful. Its waterfalls like Pulhaphanzak. Other waterfalls and bodies of water in Francisco Morazan, colonial towns like Comayagua, and of course: modern metropolis like San Pedro Sula and the Honduran Capital: Tegucigalpa.
Almost 50% of Hondurans understand or speak English. the Honduran Caribbean coast and the Bay Islands were once part of the British Empire. Honduras is a multicultural and multilingual country. 🇭🇳❤️🇭🇳

Love the video! We fell in LOVE with Roatan… love the West End. We actually went to some of those restaurants while there. The East side, less developed, but SO BEAUTIFUL and RELAXING! We actually became PADI Diver Certified while there at Octopus Dive School!!
Roatan is the best. Had such a good experience. The ship that brings tourists was delayed a day so there was no crowd literally about 15 people and Caribe Tesoro hooked it up with a suite. Make sure to check them out.
just came to say you couldn't have put a better title for this video. yes we are primarily a english speaking island, but our culture on the island is completely different from the mainland, we got that caribbean sauce that the rest of the caribbean islands have. God bless fam
West bay is a lot calmer for family oriented and west end for party town!! Singles and having fun! I wills be in Roatan in a couple of days. I go back every year..
I'm go there 5 times for diving. At this video place, west end, its good for eating but for more quiet place it's Sandy bay the best...7 min in taxi for this video place.
Roatan was really nice when I visited on a cruise about 10 years ago. We stayed on West Bay and zip lined through the jungle area. I’m definitely going back after watching this video minus the cruise ship.
@8:00 massage - $20 for 15 minutes or $130 for 60 minutes?? That makes no sense mathematically as you can get 4 15 minute massages for $20 x 4 = $80 LOL!
because our country always say bad things about honduras. sorry its not fair but its true. so people in usa probably dont know how very beautiful honduras is.
Great to see you having a good time. The bay islands can overwhelm you the first time there. There are two other islands besides Roatan. Utila and guanaja are nearby. Also dozens of beautiful smaller cayes. Cayo cochinos has the best food. Authentic Garifuna cuisine. Hard to believe people believe on such small islands, but they do. Roatan has the strongest west Indian feel. They sound like Jamaicans to me. That's how diverse Honduras is. Find french key, a must. Roatan was a pirate haven. Still has modern day pirates. You will see them in the bars. Take your time and enjoy.
saw some videos horse riding in ocean ...they go almost waist deep and go up to looks like island then go back to beach area ...is it havana beach or adventure but thought they were out of business ....west end?
Love Roatan, just wish there would be more Garífuna culture in West Bay and West End. Didn’t hear any Punta the entire time I was there. When you go to Jamaica you hear Reggae, Soca in the Bahamas. Roa seems to want to keep it limited to the Eastern End of the island. Don’t hide it please.
You will find more Garífunas on the coast of mainland Honduras. Bay Islanders are descendants of British colonists, therefore we have a different culture than Garífunas and we speak English.
I love Roatan! I've been a few times, and can't wait to come back! I love the chocolate shop and that botanical gardens at Carambola! I'm coming back this fall to snorkel some more if you have any recommendations for restaurants or hidden beach snorkeling spots. I usually stay around Sandy Bay

There's one not far from there up by The Drunken Sailor and 2 by the gas station a couple blocks or so east of there but any of the ones in West End may or may not be working at any given time. Your best bet are to load up at the airport. There's about 3 or 4 there now. Tip: There is a store(I can't remember the name) north of the chocolate factory and south of Half Moon Bay on the NON-beach side that has a "Cash Back" sign in the window. If you go in there you can do a "transaction" and get however many Lempiras you need back.
