Wow, a lof of the jackets were close to, or above, £1000, sorry that's way too much for me and I am a fan of the brand, I will stick to pre-owned for now, great work Hox. My mate did pick up a few sweats thanks to the heads up from your group.
Excellent Vlog, Am from Liverpool and about 20 years ago was going out with a girl from Liverpool but she worked in finance in London and on the drive back home she took me here and I must of spent a Bomb back then in 2000. We have Cheshire oaks up here. Am 55 now and I totally agree, when younger you spend for the fun of it but now am married with a family they are the priority when it comes to money. Keep up the Great work
Got a Stone Island jacket last year at 70% off in Brown Thomas. It's got to be 60-70% off for me at those prices. Got a really nice Belstaff wool forge jacket for E190 the other day so I'm happy with that. The Paul Smith stuff is pretty nice and well priced at the moment as well I wanted one of the short jackets but haven't seen it left in my size in the few shops I tried.
@@thehoxtontrend that whole hackney walk outlet area has gone completely it's so sad, few years ago it was a nice little spot with stoney, Joseph, matches fashion n all that
I have to agree, on the odd occasion I would spend, but mostly any spare money goes towards savings like my ISA on trading 212, , I took your advice from one of your videos. They just dropped the rate to 4.9% it was 5.2% but I doubt anywhere else would give the same return, and interest is paid daily. Since September 2024 I've already earned around £360 interest for sittinig back and doing nothing, unlike you I was a bit worried about shares so took the safer bet. Thanks again Hox, learnt a lot from you mate.
Well said. Twenty years ago, yes, that was when SI was very good. If you knew YOOX back then, they had SI items for under £100. That was the time to get their woolen pea coats, jumpers, and anything Marina. They were all made in Italy and fitted great. Nowadays, if you were to buy, you would save up for a year, invest your money, and use the interest you have gained to buy a piece that you really want.
I stopped doing luxury fashion 24-7 but my son has followed in my footsteps and now is the uks youngest designer collector so my pockets are forever got holes in them😮
I have been going to Bicester since the 90s and the prices are definitely less competitive. It’s a great day out 😊 I usually hover online for items that I really want waiting for them to be reduced
Thanks mate pleased i never went there way over priced use to be able to get coats in Selfridges for £650 back in the day that blitz every coat in there probably 20 years ago now 😢
I picked up stone island body warmer for £330 thought that was decent. And the aqua green jumper Hoxton said about near the end of this video for £130. Burberry store have 40% off pretty much everything aswell.
I’ve been buying Stone Island for over 33 years now but not bought anything new since Monclar bought them out, killing it with the price. My mates had a boutique for 30 years n lost Stone Island last year as it seems many smaller shops have as they seem to want to just sell in big chains now….sad
The prices they’re charging for Stone Island is a joke even with the reductions it’s still overpriced If you look about you can find mid 2000 pieces tagged for a decent price and even pre-worn for me to drop a bag plus the piece has to be really special.
I joined your Facebook group. TBH it’s a skip fire of scammers and overpriced garbage. That’s not a reflection on you HOX (whatever your real name is) but the platform is trash. Your video content is top class 👍
Was supposed to visit over a decade ago for my birthday. Someoen told me on boxing day that Bicester isn't a place to get deals and what do you know a video pops up. These phones are invasive but I am actually intrigued to see what its like there 😂
Considering they were 140 7 years ago it’s abit steep. I have a few but just can’t justify 200 on a jumper. Nearly did buy some cargos for 300 but glad I didn’t. Only thing worth spending money on is the jackets least they hold value as time goes on.
I used to wear Stone Island, Armani, Lacoste, Valentino, etc, but today's prices HELL NAH!!! I am happy wearing primark stuff. Cheap and cheerful and besides, Stone Island all the chavs wear now anyway 😂
Tbh the chav persona is gone now I think because of the luxury price point, no chav is paying £450 for a wool jumper and I work in London and have seen several finance guys and older men wearing stone island stuff with leather crossbody bags.
@xch0perGUNER They're all wearing the cheap fake crap from eBay that's flooded the market. Still can't justify the price tho, these companies are 100% scaming people & it is sickening but if you have the money fair enough but I know what I'd rather spend £800 on and it isn't a jacket with a "badge." Just my opinion, though. We are all free to do as we please.
@@tinseltits9855 nobody is scamming anybody...you pay for the name, its that simple. you can buy Tesco value beans for 40p or Heinz for £1.40...beans are beans but you dont question the 300% mark up lolol....you right tho, you free to buy what you want
People that are complaining about the prices, it’s inflation, even Primark charge £35-40 for tops now, plus since the Moncler buy out, Stone Island is now upper luxury pricing, it is what it is, if you can’t pay it or want to pay it there’s plenty cheap brands out there 😂
I used to buy all this stuff but look back at myself now as a fool with a big ego to satisfy. I really dont like what i valued back then, and i can pretty much apply the same to anyone wearing it now. I think we dont grow out of it, we just wake up to the meaningless bs.
Remember everything at Bicester village is made for them and others..dont think it's old stock from sloane st or mayfair nah...i first came when it opened ...they are fooling many people

Brilliant vid again hox👍
RIP to the hackney outlet man, was near my yard used to love going there
Really miss the bargains from there 😔
Man that place blessed us whilst it was there, that place will go down in the history books, the grails and finds in there were next level.🤕

Is the Hackney one closed... where is best place for stone island coats now then
Lol
A month’s rent/mortgage for a woolly top😅
Wonder if stone island will start selling jeans again

Hox what season is the discounted stuff?
AW 23 i believe mate
Insane prices
I dont bother going there now back in the day the prices was decent not now
I am fan of the brand no way I pay a jacket more than 900
At 50% odd I still can’t manage. The kids Private schools fees take most of my spare cash.
With that additional 30% only works out about 50% off in total ? That’s pretty poor, especially for the less popular colours.
I beleive it was around 66% off in total approx mate. Either way prices still seemed steep on some buts due to the higher rrp.
@ oh really ? Looked like a lot of the original price tags were only 30% off.
Great stuff years ago. But to chav now and so much Clone Thailand about
Even if you can afford the new hiked up prices on SI I still won’t buy due to the absolute piss take
SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! GO TRAVELLING MUCH BETTER INVESTMENT AND FAR MORE ENJOYABLE
How much are the crewneck cotton jumpers going for at the outlets I seen on on flannel for 200 is that good price.
Thank you in advance.

Why wouldn’t you wear colours black and grey stonies are dull and too many replicas in these colours
Trump 2024 hox 🎉
1k for a jacket people must be mad.

pretty simple logic, 2025 dont call ppl "mad" jus because it dont cater to you.
