Absolutely. For various reasons there's a belief that UX people and product managers can effortlessly make drastic domain changes. I mean you can, but don't be surprised to re-learn EVERYTHING. Being an expert in a domain, being actually passionate about the core of the business you're is the backbone on which all your other skills are anchored. It is not a fanciful extra point like it's often described in the industry.

Super nice video - especially interesting was the part of optimizing your LinkedIn / using dribble to position yourself in a niche - would be amazing to see another collab with Jacob on that topic!

The niche aspect is truly important for me now. Travel is naturally one of my interests and now I am making a case study based on travel- more specifically, a travel destination website. My past case studies were a snack concept app, a name finder app, etc.

I'm sitll a freshman in college hoping to break into UX Design upon graduating. There's a lot of discouraging information out there right now regarding this particular career, and it definitely makes me anxious at times. At this time it's also hard for me to navigate through everything and it's hard for me to gain relative experience (I'm trying my best). I found this video to be helpful. Thank you for your content!

I totally get you! I just stumbled upon UX a few weeks ago, and I got super hyped to dive deeper and maybe even score a job in this field. But then, as I went down the rabbit hole of research, I started hearing all these people blabbering about how saturated it is and how tough it is for newbies to break in. It kind of burst my bubble and took away some of my initial excitement. But hey, I'm still interested in this stuff

Now, this video has given me hope in order to try the things mentioned. Thank you Andres! 🙏🏾🫶🏾 Let’s see what happens 🤞🏾🤞🏾

Hello Andreas, It's been great watching your channel and following up with every video you post. I have a few important questions and i will be happy if you can reply me.
    1. Did you start out as a business ux design agency? Or was it a personal portfolio?
    2. I really love your edits and i would really love it if you can recommend some tips, channels or any resources that can help me learn similar video edits and effects.
Just so you know, i have planned to start my UA-cam channel and also document my journey as i progress. You're really part of the very few that motivates me to not give up on focus on my dream.
    Thanks a lot man.

i looked at Jacob Olenick 's' dribble and his designs are amazing but where is the UX? I don't see any problems that was presented to him to solve. Most designers are not communicating how they are solving the problems for the companies but showing just visual work.
