Great stuff the Ech20. Can be used primarily as a waterless wash, but I use it as a QD mainly. Has great cleaning ability due to its waterless wash origins. Can be used for drying after washing ceramic coated cars and bird strikes etc. Great review :)
Yeah it's definitely my favourite details product I love using it to try my coated cars although never used it for waterless wash as I like doing rinsless occasionally but still don't trust waterless haha
Just came across your channel tonight mate first video of yours I have watched and you did a great job looking forward to watching more videos of yours when I get the chance.
Cheers mate 👍🏻🇦🇺
Thanks so much Michael 🙏
Great video and couldn’t agree more. I also used Boss Gloss as part of my wash routine but once I tried Carpro I’ve been suitably impressed. I use this dilution as well with about 30 ml of Reload. I think it’s especially brilliant in cleaning / drying door jambs, makes them pop and stand out. Again great job with your channel 👍👍
Thanks mate appreciate the kind words and yep still do this day this one possibly my favourite detailing product
I need to get myself some of this. Thanks for the tip
Thanks mate let me know what you think 0nce you get some
Great video mate!
Thanks I appreciate it
Good video. I use this as a QD, as well. Like you said, a very good value. There are a couple of other QDs that I prefer, but this is hard to beat for the money.
Thanks mate, yeah for the money it's unbeatable but money no object there's a few I prefer
I've had my car coated with the Cquartz Professional. I give my car a rinseless wash with ECH2O and finish it with the Carpro Elixir quick detailer. CarPro Elixir is great but you do need to use a dry 2nd towel to wipe it off. Even if the product is applied and rubbed off with the same towel that towel will eventually become damp and can leave a haze. The ECO2O detailer would be great for the very fine garage dust that accumulates.
I just finally picked up some elixir and am super keen to try it out, I have a feeling ill like Ech20 more though just for the ease of use bit will see haha
Just used this product as a drying aid and as a quick detailer for a final wipe down. Really easy to use, no streaking, boosts gloss and leaves a slick finsh. Really great value for money due to the dilution ratios. I particularly liked it as a drying aid. I do have to mention though that the best quick detailer I have used is the sonax ceramic detailer, this stuff is really amazing and provides lots of protection as well. Koch Chemie QS is a very effective and versatile product as well. Thanks for your video!
Yeah it's probably my favourite detailing product and I use every day.
Haven't tried out the Koch chemie range yet but will do so soon hopefully
@@EvolvedDetails Koch Chemie is an excellent brand, you won't be disappointed.
Hey mate, thanks for another great video as usual. I just placed an order and was wondering what dilution ratio do you recommend to use for cleaning bird poo off the car and cleaning the door jambs ? Thanks mate 👍
I usually just have it at 1-15 for those, bit for bird poo I mostly keep a bottle of rinsless wash in the car now and keep the Ech20 for quick detailer duties
Adding Reload to your mix will result in a version homemade Elixir.
Yeah I've done that a bit but actually prefer it without as I don't need to worry about the si02 in the Reload affecting my drying towels
Great video! On a side note, you could also look into comparing car soaps (Like Reset vs Snow vs Auto Body Gel for example). Keep them coming!
Thanks mate, definitely want to do some car soap comparisons in the future but think it might a little difficult in one video so was considering doing single videos for different soaps and saying what I like or didn't like ect
Thinking of trying this!! If used on top of a coating or sealant, do you find it masks the hydrophobic behaviour at all? Or does it boost it?
I use it in top of my coated cars and don't see any drop in the hydrophobic behaviour at all
I love using griots garage ceramic speed shine for both the performance and user experience in the scent department.
Is there any pleasant scent to this?
Thanks for the video!
Thanks mate, not really a strong scent to this but the scent had grown on me over the years
Great video. Need more Aussie content. Breadmaker is a "short term sealant". What I do is your ech2o mixture but add equal amounts to ech2o of NV lustre or carpro reload to it. Increases gloss and saturation alot. Great as a drying aid on all cars, even non coated. Also, ech2o has hard water softener in it so normal tap water for most places will work fine. So even cheaper
Thanks mate, have tried Reload in it but definitely keen to put a bit of Lustre in there now and see how that works.
Also didn't realise I could use tap water so yeah that's a huge bonus too
@@EvolvedDetails obviously distilled is safer. I know Sydney water, and most major cities in Oz are heavily regulated as well so they're not too hard.
Lustre adds alot more depth.
I still have about 10 litres of distilled left so I'll use it up first, definitely will add Lustre soon though as I really did like that when I used it previously
@@EvolvedDetails another thing I like, Shine Supply Throttle instead of Nova Boost. Same concept with anti static. And half the price.
@@charlesbardforth6738 I'll have to try it out, only used one shine supply product so far and it was one of their shampoos and have been meaning to try more of their stuff so will add it to the list
Is Ech20 supposed to have white things in it once you dilute it or is mine just moldy?
Mine doesn't maybe give it a super thorough shake and see how it goes
Where did you get your microfiber from?
I get them from waxit.com.au
Im a huge Bowden's fan but that boss gloss is just bad news. It just attracts way too much dust due to the fact it has no protection or self cleaning properties, the gloss levels are crazy though, nv boost offers amazing protection just dont get me started on there pricing for there sizing 🤦♂️😂😂 side note, im really loving the megs ceramic detailer and the spray wax 🙌
This product has some si02 in it so does offer some protection. But the point of a quick detailer should be to just be able to quickly wipe off some bird droppings or spills ect without worrying about streaking or protection they shouldn't be used as standalone sealants so gloss is more important than protection
@@EvolvedDetails very well put man, cheers for always engaging with the viewers really means alot mate
You use Ech2o as a Quick Detailer. Bead maker go over ?
Yeah I do and no I don't use beadmaker anymore, not really a fan of that product if I'm honest
@@EvolvedDetails Thanks !
Can you add any wetcoat or wax?
@@EvolvedDetails have you test koch chemie pw protector wax?
How about carpro reload 2.0 as an addition in this mix?
I haven't tried with 2.0 but I did with the original Reload and didn't like it as much since it could be more streaky
@@EvolvedDetails do you think NV jet could be good to add to it? Like say 20ml of jet mixed instead of reload?
I've heard of people doing that and in sure it will work well
@@EvolvedDetails thanks. Was curious because I feel NV jet is legit the best spray sealant I know of. I think NV knows this is as well which is why they've raised the price by 50% 😭
That could be a rinseless wash to
It can although I'm not a big user of waterless washes but I do like rinsless
