if you want to get technical then they speak LEBEANESE in lebanon. the way you hear a lebanese newsreporter talk is proper arabic. if you know anything about the arabic language you will know each country in that region speaks differently but when they read and write it is uniform. formal speech is arabic, informal and street talk is lebanese. now you know
Pft i know that. Im egyptian, libya, and iraqi, and i have lebanese, and jordian relatives. but we all consider ourselves arabs from the countries we come from like im egyptian-iraqi-libyan arab. and the lebanese dialect is spoken in palestine, syria, and jordian so yea.
Algeria and Tunisia were also colonized by the French and the British, but I dont hear them saying they arent Arabs. Even India was colonized by the British, now Indians are not Indians no more? LOL. And yes I have seen Lebanese people and like I said before you dont look too different than your Syrian and Palestinian neighbors.

to call Lebanese arabs is like calling Egyptians africans. Just because they are in Africa the people are not classified as africans, rather as Arabs. The same goes with Lebanese, they are in the arabic world but it's not culturally arab, neither do the people look like arabs. Go to saudi arabia or oman, Kuwait etc. and you will se how real arabs look.
