- This is the most simple recipe I make for my dogs. I started using this recipe to be able to help them in the transition with their new diet.

This is woefully incomplete. No calcium, no iodine no selenium, no copper, no zinc, no taurine, very few nutrients. You need to do some reading on how to make a complete raw diet.
Do you mean when you give her an egg, you grind up the shell too? You mentioned shell.
Yes. You have to finely chop it and add it. I don't do this too often but I do add it to their food.

I want to put my fur baby on a raw diet too. Do they need any bones? I was told once that dogs need bones in their diet. Is this true?
Justin Dispenza the shell is loaded with calcium. I grind mine to a powder then put it in the dog food.
How many times a day fo you feed her this?
2xs a day and of course treats during the day.

Hi, I exclude the bone because it can harm her. Unless it's like beef rib bone then I would give it to her. I have to make sure no small pieces are on it that she can choke on or that it can cause internal problems.
My mom grinds up the bone . Idk I haven't try raw yet, except the freeze dried. She started getting itchy with that. So I'm trying to figure out the best food to give my fury baby
Scarlett the Yorkshire I have a 6 lb Yorkie x so understand your concern. Raw chicken necks are perfectly safe, I feed mine one 2-3 times a week. She also gets an whole egg per lb of meat in her mixture as well.
You can give chicken bones raw, as long as you don't cook the bones they can eat them
What is a good source of calcium, does egg shells have it? Or plain yogurt or goats milk
Definitely ask your vet. I have a supplement I have give her along with her food.

My vet is the one that gives me a special supplement. Ask your vet.
Hi I have a small Yorky, I was wondering how the poop will be with raw food? Can you answer that please?
I was a little nervous about what my Yorkie's number 2 consistency would be on a raw diet thinking it would be really soft, maybe even a little runny. But the vets who recommend and support raw feeding are correct when they say your dog's poo will be nice and firm (not rock hard and not super soft or mushy). My dog puts out a healthy #2 daily!
Can I add cooked beetroot in the meal as well?

Yes it is...I do feed her 2xs a day with different protiens and fruits and veggies. i just made this diet simple because some people are just wanting the basics to it. Thanks for the feedback.

I think your dog needs more calcium.. if bones harm her you can even give her calcium tablets diluted in water, NO D3 Added doe. Just calcium.
She has a supplement given to her in her meals to ensure she is getting enough calcium and nutrients. But she is completely healthy and no problems.
Erik Mena egg shells are loaded with prime calcium . I take eggs shells then grind them to powder . There is nothing better than eggs shells for calcium. I eat them myself .
That meat is really fatty .
All meat is fatty and of course they need that to stay healthy and fit. Balance diet and plus my vet recommends this and Scarlett is healthier than ever.

Sorry for answering till now. I've been away from posting and filming for some time now. I will be back to posting regularly this week. I do not feed her pork at all...just raw beef, lamb and other red meats.
