However, the course was two laps on a 2,5km route in Stavanger, Norway, with five runners in each heat based on time. The splits in the video were like 7:00 (2:50/km) and 6:29 (2:35/km😮) for a national record of 13:28. Jakob and Henrik used the Nike AlphaFly Next%. Splits: 1k 2:50 2k 5:39 (2:49) 3k: 8:25 (2:46) 4k: 11:02 (2:37) 5k 13:28 (2:26) Last 2k in 5:03 Last 500m in 71 seconds🤯
Thanks Erik. Have missed the Diamond League and will miss the Olympics and several marathons around the globe, so any small doses of athletics is great, regardless of quality. 😀Deb

@@tamp4x no, only one carbon plate is used here and apparently the shoe was measured to 39,5mm so it's fine
Erik B no alphaflys/vaporfly’s have ever had more than one plate, even the ones used by eliud kipchoge had one plate.
