Adam is pleased to welcome Jerry Springer to the podcast at the top of Part 2 of today’s show. The guys talk about Jerry’s previous long running television series, as well as his latest endeavor, ‘Judge Jerry’. They go on to discuss Jerry’s rise to success, his time serving at Mayor of Cincinnati, and what Jerry has learned from being a father and grandfather. Before hanging up, Jerry discusses one of the more frightening moments of his career, and how he reacts to criticism. Usually one story on the show is actually real. You can usually tell who it is because Jerry doesn’t make fun of them like he does the other guest.

If you buy tires for your car in CA, you pay a special tax above the sales tax. Same with paint and a piece of wood. They tax you for having a sewer pipe that hooks up to the city sewer. Cigarettes, alcohol, your phone, and water. All taxed. Pathetic
I remember being charged a huge fee when I bought a new computer monitor, supposedly to compensate for the cost of disposing of the CRT it replaced. But, it isn't replacing anything. Doesn't matter.
North Carolina is about as bad, 2% disposal fee on tires the state then sales the tires for profit to different companies so they're making money on both sides and that's just one way the government of NC is screwing over it's residence
All states have an excise tax on cigarettes. The cheapest is MO at $0.18 a pack. DC is the highest at $4.50 per pack. CA is ranked 12th at $2.87 per pack.

I leave my truck running but its locked. Also, any idiot stupid enough to break in, would be met with two growling dogs. I got in a wreck one time and while I was talking to the cop, a tow truck driver went to get in there and I watched him bolt out of there like a bolt of lighting.

People love free stuff, I'll set stuff out at the end of my drive way, post it on fB and it's gone in a couple hours at the most. But if I sell stuff it doesn't move very fast. They always want to low ball my listed price and deliver on top of that. Or they want me to ship it for more than the sale price and cover the shipping too...

I skipped the whole inauguration for obvious reasons (I live in Ohio),,, 🙄 but the one thing I missed that I wanted to see was Gaga. She sounded great as usual.
When racism was rampant (which is not today), that was the norm society had set. Just like handjobs for money. His statements are contradictory. It's about the principle. Having money stolen, your time coercively wasted, or kidnapped and caged, is not a proportional response to someone engaging in a consensual transaction regardless of societal norms. Defending the freedom of adults to engage in consensual transactions is worth fighting for.
Also, the culture he grew up in is not the culture I grew up in, and it's completely fallacious of him to think so.
I'm a little disappointed, I thought he was smarter than this.
