- So this past Christmas I received some lovely body powder. It was a very nice gift from my wonderful mother in law. I wonder how she would feel if she knew that the packaging made me as excited as the actual gift? See how I used the packaging to make this mini album.
I used some digitals that I purchased from BumFuzzleBoutique from Etsy. I also have a video showing you how to take the digitals and add them to your cricut: A beginners guide to using Digital Fussy Cut Images to decorate your Paper Craft Projects

Of course, once you download them, you can just fussy cut the images, you do not need a cricut or another other electronic cutting machine.
Here is where you can get the adorable Gnomes and other fun images:

Here is my story: in 2019 I sold my house and everything in it and moved into a RV. The plan is to travel all over the US and enjoy the great outdoors with my husband. We chose a RV model that had an extra room with bunks, but instead of bunks I have a desk and drawers. It is a small craft room, but I enjoy crafting in between hikes.
I love paper and enjoy making memory albums. Subscribe and join me as I craft my way around the US!

Thanks so much!
Adorable little mini album. Love the cute gnomes. Thanks for sharing and have a great day
Thank you so much, you’re so sweet!
Love this cute little album.😊
Hi Kim! Thank you!
He looks exactly like a Richard Bumfuzzle. ☺️ Super cute album!
Yes, Richard is actually my little coffee gnome here in my studio. My wonderful husband brings me coffee and puts it behind me ( can’t sit on my desk, I will surely spill it), and Richard is standing watch on the coaster with a sign that has been changing. It simply said this morning “thank you for the coffee” but changed to “Richard BumFuzzle at your service”. They are all over the studio now. Thomas somehow got into the bathroom and greeted us when we opened the medicine cabinet to get our toothbrushes. Such tricksters!
ADORABLE! Love the gnomes!!!
I think the gnomes made the project come to life. Thanks for watching!
I absolutely adore this little mini and I love your creativity!!! I really like the thin offset around the gnomes! Well, I am a box hoarder, so guess what I’m going to do next??! Yep!!!😂😊 and after that, I’m going to go search for your cricut video! Thank you for such an inspiring little mini!!!❤
Oh that’s so cool that you hoard boxes. I bet you have some fabulous ones to use!
Love the Gnome with his nose sticking over the top. So fun. Great album using scraps. You have given me some great ideas. Thanks
I’m so glad this project gave you some ideas! That is always my goal. Thanks for watching, Carolyn❤️
So cute! Love the colours!
Hi Ang! Thanks! Yes, I love the bright colors too!!!
That is adorable!
Hi, Kim! Thanks so much!
That is so great. I see pretry boxes for items and hate to get rid of them. Now I know how to reuse them! This came out really cute!
Hi! Yes, I could especially see cosmetics in pretty boxes, like this one. I am working on a second project with the rest of the packaging. Thanks so much for watching!!
So stinking cute! Love this 😍
Thanks so much!❤️
This is so cute…I love the way you made the spine! I’m new to this.
Hi, Ann! The spine is sort of a cheater spine. But I loved the color of the corrugated cardboard. I had to use it!!! I do have a bunch of beginning tutorials on my channel. I will be doing a few more beginner mini albums in February, so stay tuned! Thanks for watching!
Omg this wad hilarious..I enjoyed this so much..thank you! Are you going to show your mil what did with the packaging? I keep stuff like this all the time! Who knew why? 😂
Hi Kathy! Yes, since several of the viewers mentioned showing it to my mom in law, I will, but maybe closer to Valentine’s Day. It may backfire and I’ll be inundated with either more cosmetic gifts or she will take it upon herself to send old boxes and packaging. I’ll try to word this gently to her, lol!
You should send that to your mother in law so she can see what you made with part of her gift.
Oh, lol, that would be funny. Maybe I’ll add some of the corrugated cardboard to her Valentine’s Day card that I’m making her. Great idea Kim!
Hello ! Il est vraiment superbe votre album , j'aime beaucoup ❤❤❤!!! Les papiers de fonds sont aussi digitaux ? Merci beaucoup pour votre partage , bonne soirée et à bientôt . Bye bye
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words! Unfortunately the main papers are from a US store- Hobby Lobby.
@Project39MiniAlbums avec plaisir ! Ah ok merci beaucoup, je trouverai dans mon pays quelque chose d'équivalent 😉 . Bonne journée 👋
Cute little album. Curious what kind/brand paper do you print on?
Hi Fay!! Yes, I should have covered that. For almost all of my printing I use Koala paper- here is the package I am using now: amzn.to/4h9awjw The paper is coated with sort of a clay like substance on both sides to absorb the ink. I also need to change my settings to Matte finish and “best” quality. I have also used Premium Presentation paper, it is one sided and not as cost effective, but it does print a great image. Thanks for asking, I’ll try to remember when I do another video to mention it.
Oh, the premium presentation paper was Epson brand.
@ thanks
What weight of paper do you use for the printable? I always tend to look at everything like what can I make with it!
I used 32 lb. The offset outline paper is 65 lb.
@ where would I find 32 lb cardstock
@ amzn.to/4h9awjw that is my Amazon affiliate link. The paper is the Koala brand. It has a clay substance on the front and back so you get a good clear image front and back. They also have heavier weight.
