we saw rusty mosins being handed out to lpr/dpr conscripts early in the war, its unlikely their equipment situation has improved, but its worth considering it could be a looted civvy shotgun optimistically being used to shoot at drones
put a scope on it & you get a dm in your team.. ww2 weapons still are weapons. if I remember correctly, ukrainians also still use vickers mg & dp 28..
@@Cssfiend A conventional civilian/hunter shotgun is actually a more effective weapon against small drones than a military assault rifle. I have already seen numerous recordings where they were used and, unlike assault rifle (of which the chances of shooting down a small mobile drone are very low), it was often possible to shoot down drones. Still hard task to do, but the chances are significantly higher than with an assault rifle.

They will not leave. I am not on Russia's side, but Ukraine should have the courage of the white flag, as the pope said. Why waste more lives? Russia wins wars by attrition, and they will not leave. They will only mobilize more and more men, and will get stronger and stronger. Russia is literally using this war as training for their troops, likely in preparation for their eventual confrontation with NATO. Zelensky truly is a delusional man for continuing this war, and is inadvertently destroying Ukraine. He could end the war, suck it up and give up lands, and have the opportunity to join the EU and NATO and bring peace to his people. But he does not, all for the delusion that they'll magically force Russia to leave.

And Ukraine has not “lost” these territories, they are merely being temporarily occupied by the russians.But most of that was already occupied by russia prior to the start of the war. They just came in unannounced and occupied Crimea and like a good fungal rash, never left. Then the russian “little green men”, whom EVERYONE knew were russian troops, came into Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and suddenly just started occupying those oblasts. Again, like a stain that is hard to remove from a piece of clothing you like, the russians are still there. That’s something like 14% of Ukraine territory. Russia didn’t get that during this invasion, they started occupying them in 2014 because putin was sad that the Ukrainian people rose up against the russian puppet President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and he fled the country in fear. Ukraine sent a message to putin “we don’t want you here any more” and that is what the Maidan was all about. It wasn’t the US or the CIA, it wasn’t the UK or MI6, it was the PEOPLE OF UKRAINE. They want nothing to do with you russians.
Eventually, NATO will get off its butt and kick russia out of Ukraine. And the people of eastern and southern Ukraine want that day to come very soon. It will.

Nobody here was really interested in seeing any of Russia’s successes. The Sun used to have both Ukrainian and Russian success videos on their channel, but very few people watched the Russian successes and it was causing them to lose money - so they stopped showing whatever russia did well. I was outside for 6 hours in front of courthouse and as long the side where a busy street enters a interstate highway system. The following week, even with ron johnson's nay vote, the U.S. Senate passed the Ukraine bill 70 to 30. Since then, I sent to Speaker Michael Johnson's Washington office a letter of support for Ukraine military aid along with an expensive photo album of my travels to Irpin and Bucha in May of 2022. I also later provided photos in another mailing of my travels to Kramatorsk in July of 2023. I have emailed President Biden so many times asking for Patriot missile systems, 155 mm shells, artillery, ATACMS, F-16s, tanks, Bradleys, ammunition, and even thermobaric weapons to take out the mine fields and other layers of defense the russian have built for a counter offense.
Thank you for such a herculean effort. I am an American like you, and truly appreciate it. Both my state’s senators - Cassidy and Kennedy (both R-Louisiana) voted to pass it. I sent them letters before (urging them to vote for it) and after (thanking them fir their votes). Then why on earth Ukranian side is complaining that they`re overwelmed by the russians 1/6 and can`t find ammunition to continue the fight in all the battlefront. Imagine to force multiplier factor Ukraine has using just a few guys piloting cheap drones to take out whole companies of Russian armor and infantry and doing it again the next day. Ukraine loses no one, spends a few thousand dollars, Russia loses everyone and a few million dollars. They will run out of men and materials eventually and the Ukrainian reserves can then counter attack and face little modern weaponry while retaking their territory.
